💍🥂 FROM GARTCOSH UNITED TO VIETNAM… AND NOW MR & MRS FISHER! 🇻🇳❤️

What a FANTASTIC Friday celebrating the gorgeous Lucy & Ross as they tied the knot at the stunning The Exchange in Glasgow! 😍💍

And what a love story these two have! ❤️

It all began thanks to their bridesmaid Abigail, following a Gartcosh United match where Ross was playing ⚽… and fast forward to a romantic proposal on Obama Beach in Vietnam! 🌴🌊 Now THAT’S how you turn a football connection into a forever kind of love! 🥰

With their amazing bridal party by their side, Emma, Lucy and Abigail looking fabulous as bridesmaids, Calum and Lewis taking on best-man duties, Brian, David and Colin supporting Ross as groomsmen, and little Jessica stealing hearts as flowergirl, it was a day packed with love, laughter and plenty of happy memories! 🥂✨

After sharing their beautiful vows and promising each other forever, we brought a lovely touch of Scottish tradition into the ceremony. With the help of Ross's papa's engraved cup, dating all the way back to 1949, David and Brian welcomed the newlyweds into their respective families with a traditional Scottish quaich ceremony. 🥃❤️
A beautiful family moment and a special piece of history included in their big day!

Lucy & Ross, it was an absolute pleasure to be part of your wedding day and help tell your story. Here's to a lifetime of love, laughter, adventures and making even more incredible memories together! 🥂💕

You know when someone asks where your outfit’s from and you get to say “it’s vintage”, "£2 quid from a charity shop mate"....That’s the energy I love bringing to weddings too.

Dreaming up and making the perfect prop / backdrop / installation, especially for you 🫡 is a huge part of why I love my job. If I didn't get to dream things up & then challenge myself to make and create them, (as thrift-ily and with as little waste as possible)...I'd wilt away, I swear!

We still can’t get over Saturday❤️

The tone was set brilliantly from our lovely humanist @clairethehumanist - there was an immediate feeling of warmth and laughter in the air. Thank you for summarising our story in the way you did.

Thank you to the superstar that is Tracey (@creativeoccs) for helping shape our day into exactly what we imagined. She was our rock throughout and even enjoyed a well earned boogie with us at the end of the evening 💃

To our secret super group “The Saxy Dukes“ (Lewis, Fraser, Max & Noble) with a surprise guest performance from our very own Dewey Finn (Chris D’Arcy) you all really understood the assignment…KICK SOME ASS! Don’t think we ever expected a “here we“ chant by 4pm during our wedding.

We’re delighted all our guests fell for the venue and its wonderful staff, Donna and the whole team @harelawfarmweddings effortlessly gave the day the family feel we always hoped for.

@simonsstudio_ & @dearjourneyfilms for capturing the whole day for us, you both went above and beyond, and from what we’ve seen you’ve already bossed it.

The legendary @djgerrylyons for keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. There were many sore feet and knackered voices the day after. Thank you for some special surprises too🥹

Thank you to Jemma from houndsandheritageweddings for bringing our pup Leia for some pics, we know she would’ve been very jealous if she missed out! 🐶

To @jennaclaytonmakeupandhair and @gosiamay.mua for doing such a wonderful job with hair & make-up. The girls felt like they were glowing all day. You also brought the best morning vibes!

Thank you to all our bridesmaids, groomsmen and guests, we truly felt the love and happiness from you all ❤️
