POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Here's to 27 🖤

I had this whole story in my head about what I'd like to say when my birthday came around.

My whole life, I've said that I wanted to end up in music, but I never knew in what way. It felt overwhelming, and honestly, it still does.

I started taking drum lessons together with my uncle from @maartenpoirters and we did that for about six years. I was sh!tting myself when I had my first performance after playing drums for only 1.5 years. But after that first show, I just knew...

So I began finding my own way into this overwhelming world, where no one really knows exactly how to get there. There's no blueprint, period. You just do.

The moment I started my own company, almost 2.5 years ago, was also the moment I fully committed to myself that I was going to make this happen.

The only way to truly see how much you've grown is to look back, and woah...

I'm already feeling proud, because I still can't believe some of the things I've done. It feels totally nuts. My younger self would totally freak out...

To my old friends, new friends, the small parts and the big ones — I'm blessed to have you as part of my story. 🖤

Here's to 27.

I am organizing this fun, intimate little festival for the 13th time 🤸
A group of songwriters will be on the beautiful island of Schiermonnikoog on July 11 and 12 to perform their latest songs. In between sets, islanders and tourists will have the chance to take the stage themselves. 🎤🎶
We’ll be at Camping Seedune and Paviljoen Paal 3. During the day, we’ll be holding showcases at the Berkenplas between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
Are you in? ♥️
