In a world obsessed about running. Here’s what I did during the week after a marathon. It really has felt amazing, to do absolutely nothing!

“No thank you, you can keep the sick bag!” - just
Had so much fun @vitalitylondon10k 🪩
Hanging out before the start with @simonwardruns and @kayleec08 meant I forgot my gel and to turn my headphones on. But that didn’t matter, nor did dancing instead of sleeping the night before
Hanging on as long as I could to @everystepforwards, and big finish line cheers from @_sammyjaffe and Allyson made sure the 2026 PB clean sweep is complete, and with the sort of pacing I haven’t managed for a while
I love running, especially in London, especially with friends, especially when the portaloos have no queues

Goodbye @tracksmithrunning London Trackhouse. It has been my home for the past 4 years during London Marathon season.

For the past two weeks I have been documenting the progress of closing down the space.

The Trackhouse in London is indeed shut but the running community remains in London and led by @amritpalghatora

So all running services and spirit will remain the same, just in a new location.

Thanks for @drinkpoppi for the final send off at Trackhouse.

The @tracksmithrunning London Trackhouse has been my home away from home in London.

It’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to show up to no matter how heavy the legs or scattered the mind.

While the incredible community lives on, our home on Chiltern street will be gravely missed.

Tracksmith 2.0 coming 🔜

Illustration (personal work) of the London @tracksmithrunning Track House which has sadly closed this past week.

I don’t live in London but as a runner whenever I did take a trip to the big city the Tracksmith store and Chiltern Street itself would be a place I would try and drop in on for a browse round. I would aspire to buy a running top or something but sadly there are always other priorities where the limited money I have needs to go. Like I say I don’t live in London and so have no connection to the running community that’s been built around the Track House. I did read a lovely post by @simonwardruns which highlighted what the place meant to him and others, it’s worth a read if you’re interested.

From what I’ve read and following @amritpalghatora on this platform, the community will continue which is great to hear. I will still aspire to buy a Tracksmith running top, (I do actually have one but would like another) I’ll just have to buy it online.

Best wishes to all.

Tracksmith Twilight 5000 🐇🌅🏃🏻‍♀️ First time pacing a race, really fun (and very hot) evening celebrating running, PBs and some rather shocking news from my sister, who has no choice but to become a runner now

Tracksmith Twilight 5000m 2026

Great effort from those racing Thursday evening in 30 degrees temperatures.
Also a well done to @amritpalghatora and other memebers of the community for organising.
