AUGUST ART SHOW 🐋
On the walls this month at Harvest:

Justin Haggerty (@simple_compositions) is a self-taught artist based in Asheville whose work celebrates the beauty of everyday life — plants, flowers, animals, and people — through a style defined by simplicity. Working primarily on plywood and more recently punch needle embroidery, his visual signature is built from lines and dots, a minimalist approach that highlights the essence of each figure without too much complexity.

Originally from New York, with creative chapters in Austin and now Asheville, his journey as an artist is deeply connected to a personal transformation. After getting sober eleven years ago, art became not just a practice but a new identity — a source of purpose, clarity, and connection. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a passion that continues to shape his life in meaningful ways.

Had a great day. It ended with a bang seeing the @madasheville family. We were celebrating @djfreeparking 30th. Happy to hang out and have fun with friends.

Justin Haggerty trains for a life that feels good to live.

For Justin, strength is not static. It is movement. Agility. Feeling capable in his body and confident in daily life.

What surprised him most was not just how training made him feel physically, but the community he found along the way. Real friendships. Supportive people. A shared effort that never existed for him in big box gyms.

Justin values the structure, challenge, and motivation that comes from training alongside others who are simply trying to be healthier and better. No ego. No shortcuts. Just consistent work.

Strong For Life, for Justin, means something deeper. He has been sober for 10 years, and pairing that commitment with intentional movement and nutrition has changed his life.

Treating his body well.
Letting it return the favor.
Living fully, actively, and with joy.

Strong For Life is not a phase, it is a way of living.

✨ Say hello to the gold medalist of massage therapy — @thefoldsportsmassage 🥇 Jessi recently took home first place in Clinical Massage at the Michigan Massage Championship, and trust me… it shows. Her technique is next level 😍

As someone constantly juggling workouts and property management life, I’ve learned that treating my body like an athlete isn’t optional — it’s essential. 💪 Jessi helps keep me moving, aligned, and pain-free.

Located right in the heart of downtown Asheville, her studio is the perfect excuse to carve out some real self care time. If you’ve been thinking about booking a massage — this is your sign.

Pro tip: massage isn’t just a luxury… it’s maintenance. 💆‍♀️✨
