5 years ago today, an incredible girl who changed the world - #CharlotteFigi - passed away. I remember while our community sat vigil, I was inconsolable. I’ve accepted since that I always will be … living in a world where the children I love often die has changed me.

Being of service, taking heartfelt action helps. It was an honor to take Robby to the TX State Capitol to spend this day with her mother @paigefigi, our community, and people who “get it” - trying to help our state legislators get it too.

In addition to Robby taking the mic, a favorite highlight of the day was when @piperlindeen's sweetheart son noticed my pre-speaking anxiety and offered to give me a hug. I obviously accepted, with tears in my eyes … Over ten years ago now, Paige told me how, and then I told Piper, who next told … #charlottesweb

After the long drive home, I sat on the earth and grounded in the roots of my favorite tree. Playing with teeny tiny glass snail shells, flowers and, of course, weeds harvested from my yard, I created a simple altar to raise up Saint Charlotte with unending gratitude.

I recently made an unexpected trip home when another child passed from our original #pediatriccannabis support group. I laid glazed on the grass in a San Diego park, looking up at an oxidized monument to the life of a man unknown to me. I wondered what he did that was so rad. Gutted, I filled my heart with the 2 babies we lost this year, and the babe in 2018, fully knowing their value and contribution. Soothing the edges of my tender heart, playing with sticks and leaves and petals, I marked each of their heroically significant lives with a simple altar, as delicate and precious as they are. #cannabisISmedicine #charlotteswebcbd #neverforget #littleheroes #thankyouiloveyou #babyaltars #morningaltars #cannabisforepilepsy

In so much gratitude for these eight incredible women who traveled from six different cities for my first Santa Fe Healing Immersion Retreat! -

We practiced and received Reiki, learned new techniques, delved into self and group healing and process work, and participated in workshops by local Santa Fe healers and practitioners.-
