First ever live hardware set and what a place to debut it. Huge thanks to Jamie, Clem and the entire @fitf_wales family for trusting me with a slot and giving me the freedom to experiment. That trust means everything.

The theory worked. The sound was incredible — shoutout to the sound team! @marksaudiosolutionsltd

I met some brilliant people, heard some incredible sets, and came away inspired in ways I didn’t expect. All of that goes straight back into the music.

This was an experiment and I feel it was a success. But there’s work to do. The goal now is two hours.

The architecture of the live set is evolving — more flow, more control, more freedom between tracks. Less rigid structure, more flow and mixing between elements but with everything being curated and arranged live in the moment.

Massive thank you to everyone who came, listened, danced and gave me the time of day. You made it special.

The Hollow stage at @fitf_wales on Saturday was incredible! To see some of my favourite artists (@boaksi_, @martinou3000 and @simpler_times_uk) in such a beautiful location with a great sound system was a total privilege. Thanks to everyone who made it happen. See you next year!

Saturday 30th May - Dub Explorations with Simpler Times & Daz Mac

Long running dub techno night Dub Explorations return to the booth for some dub techno of the highest order. On this late May evening they will be joined by Sheffield’s ‘Simpler Times’ a record label made up of 4 close friends presenting a dreamlike interpretation of melodic techno, deep house and breakbeats. Other support comes from Daz Mac, who’s been making waves with his party Nimbus, another dub techno focussed club night and has also had recent success warming things up at the DBA for the Meat Free collective
