POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I thought leaving Brazil would make me feel sad.
Instead, I feel expanded.💙
Maybe I had imagined this country differently before I came.
Maybe I expected it to feel more foreign.
But somewhere between Brasília, the red earth, the coast, the jungle, the architecture, the open homes, the long tables, the laughter, and the people who welcomed us so generously…
something shifted.
The world feels bigger to me now.
And strangely, I feel more comfortable inside it.
Last night, over one final Brazilian barbecue at Lucia and Dario’s home, we exchanged stories, parting gifts, and the kind of small gestures that somehow carry more than their size.
And now I’m sitting on a plane, leaving Brazil, not feeling like I’m closing a chapter.
More like I opened a door.
Maybe that is what travel does when it reaches you deeply enough.
It changes the size of your world.
And I’m deeply grateful that I get to experience that.
To everyone who opened a door, shared a table, told a story, made us laugh, showed us something new, or simply made room for us, thank you.
You didn’t just make the trip memorable.
You became part of the reason it mattered. 💙
Somewhere between arriving and leaving, the world became larger, and somehow, so did I.
Now the horizon doesn’t feel far away.
It feels like an invitation. 💙

Some journeys end with souvenirs.
This one leaves me with people.💙
Last night, we gathered one more time at Club Med.
A table full of stories.
Laughter that came easily.
Faces that no longer felt new.
And I found myself quietly grateful for how much can happen when people simply spend time together.
A wedding brought us here.
But somewhere between the dinners, the long days, the music, the tears, the beaches, and the stories, something softer happened.
We became familiar.
We made memories.
We made room for one another.
And that feels like the real gift.
To everyone who shared this week with us, thank you.
For the laughter.
For the kindness.
For the moments that will follow us home.
Some adventures show you the world.
The best ones remind you how much of it is made by the people beside you. 💙
One more evening in Brasília tomorrow… then home.
This is 💙idfRNt®️.

A little (belated) birthday look back at a year that gave me more than I ever expected. 🥳✨

I saw Nathaniel Rateliff, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Alanis Morissette and Teddy Swims. I travelled, took opportunities, made wonderful new friendships and laughed until I genuinely thought I might be sick. (@alanaadiaries )

I also lost friendships I believed would last forever. That hurt, but it taught me the difference between people who value me for who I am and people who value what I can do for them.

I started a new job, discovered I was capable of far more than I realised and received the recognition and promotion I’d worked towards for years. Social media has brought me opportunities, experiences and connections I never could have predicted.

Most importantly, I’m ending this year surrounded by friends and family who love me exactly as I am, and I love them even more for it.

What a year. And I’m nowhere near finished yet.

Next stop: New York next month to see DMB at Madison Square Garden! 🗽🍎🎶

Some nights don’t need translation.💙
By five, we were being swept into a poolside samba celebration for Jamal and Julia.
Music in the air.
Food moving from table to table.
Seventy or so people beginning to blur from “his family” and “her family” into something warmer.
My dad suddenly on the dance floor, pulling out his Rajko moves like he had been waiting all week for the right song. :)
Jamal speaking more Portuguese than I expected.
Smiles filling the spaces where words couldn’t.
And somewhere in the middle of it all, one mischievous little guest 😉led us into rooms we probably weren’t meant to see, sharing fragments of stories and family memories along the way.
Not everything was understood word for word throughout the evening…..
But somehow, the important parts were.
The humour.
The pride.
The kindness.
The effort.
And I kept thinking about how much that feels like art.
Sometimes you don’t understand it first.
You feel it first.
Maybe people are like that too.
When the heart is open, language becomes much bigger than words. 💙
Thank you for welcoming us with open arms and open hearts.
This is 💙idfRNt®️.

Sometimes, it’s the smallest gestures that stay with us the longest💛

A morning message from your mom.
A cup of coffee waiting for you.
A friend remembering your favorite snack.
A spontaneous call just to catch up.
A handmade gift from someone you love.
A hug when you don’t expect it.

These little moments may seem ordinary, but they can hold so much meaning. They remind us that we are seen, remembered, cared for, and loved💛

This week, our community shared the small gestures that have genuinely sparked Tokimeki for them, and reading your responses reminded us just how much joy a small gesture can bring someone! We love seeing you all share and participate in our Weekly Tokimeki Question, and we hope to see more of you join us in reflecting and sharing Tokimeki with each other!✨

📌What’s a small gesture someone has done for you that you still think about?
Share it in the comments. You never know who might be inspired to notice the small joys around them, too✨

When you have pieces you love, somehow they all go together!

Same with your home. Don’t worry too much about matching. When you own only that which you love, your home will be a reflection of YOU and it will all go together! @konmari.co @jammiebaker_ @simplesanctuaryhomeorg

Picking out my pieces for @project333 took a lot less time than I expected (12 minutes 🤯). I do plan to edit more pieces at the @nourishhealingcollective clothing swap tomorrow, January 26, 2-4pm. And then I should be ready for a February 1 start with @simplesanctuaryhomeorg! Let’s see what I learn in 3 months. #loveyourhomechallenge #youareworthy #konmari #project333 #closetdeclutter

LOVE YOUR HOME CHALLENGE: Love your wardrobe! Has anyone done @project333? Wearing 33 articles of clothing for 3 months. I’m super intrigued.

I think it will help me be more intentional, and really choose pieces that are authentic to me. I’ll be able to evaluate and know WHY these pieces fit “me.” I’ll also be able to identify the gaps in my wardrobe and figure out what I may need and give myself permission to invest in quality items that I love.

I’m definitely motivated by this clothing swap at @nourishhealingcollective on January 26 - free and open to the public.

I’m thinking I may start the process and then finalize it with items in the clothing swap. Another Konmari colleague of mine @simplesanctuaryhomeorg is starting the Project 333 challenge on February 1 so that may be also a good time to push the start button - with others.

Let me know if you’re in! I’m on the fence with going full force 33 items only, but I’m definitely doing a declutter before the clothing swap!
