Had a great time mixing @simplewithanaccent live at the Philippine Festival at Mississauga Celebration Square a few weeks back.

Mixed on the DiGiCo Quantum 338 with Waves SuperRack. The mix was taken directly from the console.

Always grateful for the opportunity to do what I love!

Harana is the act of musical courtship, done to win a propsective partner’s heart. And we’re continuing that tradition with @gio_7622 @haranakwintet and @simplewithanaccent 🎶🇵🇭

@gio_7622 @haranakwintet - Gio DS is a Filipino multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer, and arranger based in the GTA. He is known for his experience in multiple crafts, including piano performance, sound design, production, and arranging. Joining Gio is Harana Kwintet, a folk-fusion group, led by him, that fuses traditional Filipino styles of music with modern grooves and harmony. Harana Kwintet has been featured at the Toronto Undergraduate Jazz Festival and on Filipino TV.

@simplewithanaccent - Simplé is a Toronto-based band blending R&B, pop, and global influences into a sound shaped by diaspora, community, and musical curiosity. Formed in 2023 by Alaina Ardiente, Malou Gloria, Kevin Sia, and Matthew Reyes, Simplé has performed across the GTA for audiences like Toyota Canada, Amazon Canada, the City of Mississauga with RBC, and the City of Pickering.

Early Bird tickets start at $30, with a $10 meal credit in the price. A VIP Dining Experience is available, for those craving for @makilala.ca ‘s full menu and prefer to have a dinner before the show.

Simplé is a Toronto-based band blending R&B, pop, and global influences through a distinctly Filipino-Canadian lens. Alongside modern songs and grooves shaped by community, diaspora, and jam sessions, the group also reimagines traditional Filipino kundiman. Simplé has performed across the Greater Toronto Area for community events and clients including Toyota Canada and Amazon Canada, and recently convened the concert HERE/THERE: Sounds of a Filipino Diaspora in Mississauga. New music from the band is being developed for release in 2026.
