End of summer dump — finding the fun and living in between work and play…will I ever achieve pristine work-life balance? this was my third retreat, somehow it keeps getting better. I had the opportunity to meet so many incredible healthcare professionals while also reconnecting with familiar faces…and it truly felt like we never missed a beat

the same goes for the FIGS team. they never miss a beat when it comes to pouring into us, creating space for connection, encouragement, and community. I came expecting an amazing experience, but I didn’t expect to feel so deeply seen and heard

to everyone I had the chance to chat with, laugh with, and share heartfelt conversations with… thank you. you reminded me why this community is so special

This week, I joined more than 80 healthcare professionals from around the world for the FIGS Ambassador Retreat, and I’m honestly still processing it all.

The truth is, I didn’t realize just how much I needed this retreat.

It came at a time when I was carrying more than most people probably realized, which made the gift of rest, reflection, connection, and community feel that much more meaningful.

As healthcare professionals, we spend so much of our lives pouring into others. Our patients, our teams, our families, and our communities. What FIGS created in Ojai was a rare opportunity for us to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and be cared for in return.

Yes, there was yoga, Pilates, sound healing, pickleball, incredible food, and the most beautiful setting imaginable. But what I’ll remember most is the people.

The conversations.

The vulnerability.

The reminder that no matter how polished someone’s life may look from the outside, everyone is carrying something.

There is something incredibly powerful about being surrounded by people who just get it.

People who understand what it means to care deeply, give endlessly, and show up for others day after day.

I left Ojai feeling lighter, more grounded, more connected, and deeply grateful for every person I had the chance to meet.

To the @wearfigs team: thank you for creating a space where healthcare professionals weren’t just celebrated for what we do, but cared for as people.

And to every ambassador I had the chance to spend time with — whether we’ve known each other for years, met for the first time, or finally connected in person after following each other’s journeys from afar… THANK YOU. It was such a gift!

I left inspired by your stories, grateful for your vulnerability, and reminded that some of the most meaningful connections happen when we show up as our full, authentic selves.

Ojai gave us the perfect backdrop, but the people made the experience unforgettable. 🤍

I am so grateful to @wearfigs for bringing together such an incredible group of healthcare professionals. Every single person I met was inspiring, supportive, and genuinely celebrated everyone else’s wins.

Between yoga, pilates, mindfulness, and meaningful conversations, we made space to reflect on the beauty and the challenges of life and working in healthcare. We shared stories of resilience, growth, loss, purpose, and the experiences that shaped who we are.

I’ll never forget my time in Ojai and the friendships I made.
