Over R4,000 of proudly SA 🇿🇦 brands. One gift bag. 👀 Every product in the Founders Café gift bag comes from a local brand — and for a lot of guests, it’ll be the first time they’ve met these names at all. But here’s the bit I actually care about when we do the live unpack: Don’t just enjoy the loot. Look at these brands the way a founder should — as people you could build something with. A co-designed product. A collab that puts your customers in front of theirs, and theirs in front of yours. A partnership you’d never have thought of until their product was in your hands. And the one-two punch: some of the founders behind these brands will be in the room on the day. So you’re not just meeting the product in your bag — you’re meeting the person who built it. The bag is the introduction. The room is where you take it further. 📍 10 October · Flower Café 🎟️ 66% sold out — grab your seat before they’re gone. Link in bio. PS — Proud to be building this alongside @get-zazu, @anagomarketing and @murdermysteryguide, all in service of SA’s founder community. 💥 #founderlife #capetownfounders #capetownbusiness #proudlysouthafrican🇿🇦 #entrepreneur

Some of the loveliest details are the smallest ones. We’re delighted to welcome Simply Bee as our Guest Care Partner for the inaugural Courts of the Forest weekend. Known for their natural beeswax products, Simply Bee brings a gentle kind of luxury to the experience — thoughtful care for hands and lips after long hours in the sun, wind and fresh air. It’s exactly the kind of touch we love: simple, beautiful and made with care. Thank you, Simply Bee, for helping us look after our guests in the moments between the rallies. A little care between sets. @simplybeesa #SimplyBee #CourtsoftheForest #BaselineAfricaTours #TogetherOnTheJourney #GuestCarePartner

A smell you’ll wish you could bottle greets you as you walk into @simplybeesa in Hopefield. Luxurious scents of honey, beeswax, fynbos and essential oils float in the air as you browse an impressive display of more than 200 natural products, produced right here on site. The @hugoapothecary range offers a whole new level of skincare, carrying the name of the man who started it all — Derick Hugo, whose single beehive became a family legacy. It all began with a wedding-gift beehive in 1954 — “If you cannot afford jam, at least my daughter will have honey on her table.” That gift became a legacy, passed from Derick Hugo to his daughter Helena, who came home from Portland with a head full of honey science and sensitive skin that needed answers — and so Simply Bee was born. The Hugo Apothecary range is the latest creation, born from the goodness of Mother Nature herself. A botanical skincare range formulated with the highest quality plant-based ingredients and pure essential oils. Vegan, ethically sourced, no toxins, no filler — just concentrated plant power on your skin. To fully understand the worth of this sweet nectar and all the other wonderful products, spend some time at Simply Bee’s Observation Centre. Watch the bees at work in the Observation Hive, visit the gift and coffee shop, and indulge in a honey tasting! Next time you are out and about, keep an eye out for these products, available in selected stores across the Western Cape, or make your way to their shop in the V&A Waterfront and online at @faithfultonature Taste, smell and feel Hopefield, a small town with a big heart and fascinating stories!
