We are excited to announce a new project that we’ve been working to put together for a while and it’s finally here! This year we are officially launching the Stay True To Yourself Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on helping to improve mental health and bring awareness issues impacting adolescents. The Stay True to Yourself Foundation will address critical mental health challenges by supporting underserved K-12 students through programming in academics, social experiences, and emotional development. Through this work we intend to offer scholarships to students interested in pursuing higher education at HBCUs, career technical and trade schools.
Starting in 2025, all proceeds from merchandise purchases will be donated towards the Stay True To Yourself Foundation. Follow @staytruetoyourselffoundation @staytruetoyourselffoundation

Our 93rd regional convention did not disappoint. Thank you to all Sorors in the North Atlantic region for coming together , doing the work (while also having fun) and showing Atlantic City what it means to be an Alpha Kappa Alpha Woman.

The Mother/Daughter Tea is the event that kick starts our Cotillion season. @thetapiomega chapter and the entire tea committee really out did themselves this time. Everything was truly lovely. It was a pleasure meeting our new Debutantes, and I look forward to the journey ahead serving as one of the Debutante Co-chairman.

I hate talking about myself or my family on social media. But I think given the times we are currently in, it’s important to express the love and gratitude from everyone that made this day a success. Family and true friendship is all that we have in 2020, literally 😂. But it’s all we need. And we’re appreciative to share this moment with the ones that’s closest to us. Till next time
