I loved collaborating with Narelle from @simplyhappyorganisation again😆😆

Check our chat episode #258

🎧 Listen here: simplyhappy.com.au/podcast/

**Episode Highlights:**

🔸 The biggest decluttering mistake — pulling everything out at once and running out of steam before the reset is finished

🔸 How isolation and busy regional life can make it harder to ask for help or even get started

🔸 What a virtual session actually looks like — proper planning, timeframes, check-ins and stop points

🔸 Tailoring organising to a person’s cycles, seasons and family stage, instead of expecting constant productivity

🔸 Seasonal spring refreshes — dusty cupboards, laundry, windows, wardrobes, shoes, under the couch and indoor plants

**Key Takeaways:**

✔️ Decluttering works better when you plan the whole process, not just the sorting

✔️ Virtual support can be just as effective with the right structure, accountability and check-ins

✔️ Spring is the perfect time to reset spaces that have been shut down all winter

🎙️ I recently had the pleasure of joining Narelle King on the More Organised Less Clutter podcast, and our episode is now live!

We chatted about something I see regularly through my work at Loving Space Solutions:

Sometimes clutter is simply clutter. Life gets busy, things accumulate and our homes need a good reset.

But sometimes, there’s more going on beneath the surface.

We explored some of the beliefs and patterns that can make it harder to let go, change our habits or maintain an organised home - from emotional attachment and impulse buying to scarcity, family messages and that little voice saying “I might regret getting rid of it…”

I also shared how I incorporate PSYCH-K® and subconscious belief work alongside practical home organisation through Aligned Action, helping to address both the physical space and, where needed, what may be driving the pattern underneath it.

Because creating a home that feels lighter and functions beautifully isn’t always just about finding better storage 💚

A big thank you to Narelle for having me.

Narelle is a yoga goddess. Despite us being on opposite ends of Australia, I owe her a debt of gratitude- her yoga videos gave me back my flexibility.

I did a podcast interview this morning with Narelle @simplyhappyorganisation for the More Organised, Less Clutter show.

There are lots of small things we can do around the home to make it more dementia-friendly.

I’ll share the episode when it’s published. In the meantime, I have a free guide - Simple Changes to Create a Dementia-Friendly Home. It’s practical, room-by-room and full of ideas you can start using today.

No renos, no expensive equipment. Just small changes that make a real difference.

Comment HOME and I’ll see you the link to your DMs 🏡
