I was scared to start this business. Scared it wouldn’t work, scared of putting myself out there, scared that something I cared so much about might fail.

But I also couldn’t shake what God had placed on my heart.

So I started, with a lot of prayer and without having every step figured out. And looking at Evatāsha today, I’m so grateful I didn’t let fear make that decision for me. 🥹

God has been so faithful. Through the uncertainty, the slow seasons, and the days I’ve questioned myself, He has continued to provide and open doors I couldn’t have opened on my own.

What He’s done through this little business has grown beyond anything I imagined. And somehow, through all of it, I’m still learning to trust Him with the next step.

If you’re scared to begin something God has put on your heart, I hope my little corner of the internet encourages you. You don’t have to have it all figured out to take the first step. 🤍

From the outside, it probably just looks like another ordinary day.

But behind the scenes, we’re constantly having conversations about how we can continue to build and grow Evatāsha Beauty all while staying true to what we’ve always believed.

Every meeting, every sample we send out, every photoshoot we plan… none of it is ever rushed. Every detail is intentional because the products are only one part of the story. The experience, the messaging, and how it all fits into your everyday life matter just as much.

And somewhere in between all of that, we’re soaking up summer, making memories with our kids, and reminding ourselves why we started this journey in the first place.

Over years as a founder Ive learned that building something meaningful doesn’t happen overnight, but one day you’ll look up and see how far you have come.🤍

One thing I’ve realized from talking to women in our community is this…

No two hair routines are the same.

Some wash their hair every day.
Some only wash once a week.
Some swear by one product for years.
Others are still searching for what actually works.

There isn’t one “perfect” routine.

That’s exactly why I wanted to start this series.

Not to tell you what you should do—but to learn from real women, share different perspectives, and hopefully help you discover something that works for you, too.

Amy shared that dry scalp has been one of her biggest struggles, so we sent her home with our Repair Hair Oil to try as a pre-wash scalp treatment. Now we can’t wait to hear what she thinks. 🤍

There were moments when this felt like a really big project for out busy family and our small business.

It’s officially been 20 days since we started transforming our garage into our warehouse, and we’re finally in the home stretch.

The walls are painted, the floors are finished, and after countless hours of hard work, we’re just about ready to move everything in.

It’s still hard to believe that what started as one family’s search for something to help our son has grown into something that’s now in the hands of thousands of families.

In just 72 hours, we’ll officially be moving in… and I can’t wait to show you the final reveal. 🤍

One thing I’ve learned from talking with women about hair is that everyone has a story. 🤍

So we decided to head out and ask strangers about their hair care routines, what’s worked for them, and whether they’ve ever tried natural hair care.

Whitney was kind enough to share her routine with us, and we even gifted her a bottle of our Repair Hair Oil to try.

These conversations remind me that some of the best beauty advice doesn’t come from trends—it comes from real women sharing what’s worked for them.

This is the reality of a small business built from the ground up.

We didn’t start in a major warehouse. We started in our kitchen nearly four years ago, making small batches and fulfilling orders ourselves.

As we’ve grown, we’ve had conversations about outsourcing production. We explored different options, asked questions, and considered what the next chapter of growth could look like.

But quality, integrity, and ingredient sourcing have always been at the heart of everything we do.

We care deeply about what goes into every product, how it’s made, and the standards behind it. And for us, continuing to make our products in-house was the best way to preserve that.

So instead of handing production off, we’re creating more space to continue growing while staying true to the values that built Evatasha from the beginning.

This next chapter isn’t just about having more room. It’s about continuing to create the products you know and love with the same care, intention, and quality you’ve trusted us with from day one.

Motherhood has a way of changing the questions you ask.

You stop asking, “Does it work?”

And start asking, “What’s actually in it?”

Going through my own hair loss was one of the things that made me start paying attention to what I was putting on my scalp.

The more I learned, the more I realized there seemed to be two options: products focused on growth but filled with ingredients I wasn’t comfortable using long-term, or natural products with beautiful ingredient lists that often left people wanting more.

I wanted something in between.

A routine that felt intentional. Ingredients that served a purpose. Products that supported both scalp health and healthy-looking hair.

That’s the philosophy behind every hair product we’ve created (coming 2027🤭) , and it’s a conversation we’ll never stop having.

It’s hard to believe that what started as a mother searching for answers would one day become Evatāsha.

There was a season in our lives filled with more questions than answers. A season that pushed me to research, learn, and reevaluate so much of what I thought I knew. What began as a desire to help my family ultimately became a passion for helping others.

I never imagined I’d be sitting here years later, serving families across the country, creating products that have become part of your daily routines, and building a community of women who value intentional living and transparency as much as I do.
