Zerosports gauges pod

After a long search, I finally found one of the rarest and most expensive Gauge Pods from Zero/Sports for my GDB-F.

Since I’m currently running 52 mm ProSport Premium gauges, I fitted VDO aluminium adapter rings to compensate for the difference, as the pod is designed for 60 mm gauges.

Visually, I’m already loving the result! In the future, I’ll be switching to 60 mm gauges for the perfect fit.

The best part? I can keep my original factory clock. Its green illumination adds a touch of nostalgia and reminds me that, beneath its timeless look, this Subaru is still a car from 2005.

Subaru really got something special right with the GDB.

To avoid cutting into the original Subaru clock wiring or tapping into the power supply, I made my own small contact pins that fit directly into the OEM connectors.

This keeps the original wiring completely untouched while everything works perfectly – a clean solution, full functionality, and no messy wiring!

I was also able to route the cables neatly around the clock cover. Everything fits securely, with no bent pins or pinched wires.

The final result speaks for itself. 🇯🇵A little more Japanese automotive history now lives inside my Subaru.

Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

It doesn’t get much more JDM than this.

Nach über 20 Jahren wurde der originale OEM-Endschalldämpfer meines GDB endlich gegen einen STI Genome ESD getauscht. Der Genome ist ein originales STI-JDM-Zubehörteil, speziell für den GDB mit EJ207
.
Optisch wie technisch ein echtes Stück STI-Geschichte und vor allem klanglich genau das Upgrade, das noch gefehlt hat: satter, sportlicher und mit deutlich mehr Charakter.

Der GDB hat lange genug mit dem OEM-Sound gelebt jetzt bekommt der EJ207 endlich seinen verdienten Sound.
