Sometimes you think you’ve seen enough of something beautiful to know it completely. And then, somehow, it finds a new way to surprise you.

That’s exactly how I feel about Jaipur and flowers. I’ve always had a very personal connection with flowers. They’ve been a way for me to express affection, love, gratitude, and emotions that words sometimes can’t quite hold.

But loving flowers comes with its own little struggles finding the right ones, running around to get them, figuring out where to find something that actually feels special.

And that’s where @simplyphoolish makes it easier for me. I get to experience the beauty of flowers without the hustle of looking for them, while they bring that beauty right into Jaipur, making flowers a little more effortless and accessible.

Gave my Birds of Paradise some wings! 🦋

I have a vision of what kind of an Ikebana I wanted to create. This might have turned out better than my imagination. All thanks to @simplyphoolish for always sending the freshest, most beautiful flowers! 🌸

3 useful tips if you want to try this at home -

1. Always cut stems underwater so air bubbles don’t block water intake. It increases the life of the flowers and foliage.

2. Insert stems straight into the kenzan first, then bend to the angle you want. It’s more stable that way.

3. Cycas stems are thick and hard (lol) — poke holes with a toothpick of something sharp first so they slide in the Kenzan easily.
