when i saw videos of the #piercetheveil #mariachi set from petco park 3 nights ago, i knew i was going to try and figure out the intro notes, no doubts about it. like fleabag meeting the priest (ur a real one if you get that reference 👀 👀)

i saw the clips of it from @simplysamnine and learned that the arrangement was thought up by @ptvjaime !! insane levels of skill and beauty oml . as someone with a lung stuck in two different worlds of music i absolutely adore how pierce the veil combines mexican music/culture and alt rock 🥺🥺 literally no other band like it

can't wait to see pierce the veil soon in my own hometown 🥹🥹🥹 really needing to mosh out the sadness recently

this video is a real face reveal also 💀

Aires de Mayab!! Sadly the last video I have from nationals jam. Nationals was an incredible experience, I’m so grateful for everyone that I had the chance to play with. The biggest thank you to @mariachinationals @mariachiheritagesociety & @jh_maestro_sol

tenuto-ing with feeling 🎶

My favorite event of the year has officially come and gone :( Being able to attend this Mariachi conference twice now has been an absolute game changer for me. Although I am still in my undergrad, I have gotten to meet and build friendships with SO many passionate and amazing teachers from all around the country. I truly would have never imagined that I would be able to do this, but I am SO very grateful for everyone.

I appreciate everyone who sat down and told me their stories, who sat there and let me ask them so many questions, and who gave me all their tips and tricks to manage their teachings and day to day lives. There’s something about not only meeting so many amazing people, but also meeting some of my idols, AND getting their contacts (yes i’m fangirling i’m sorry!). ALSO, being told to travel to visit them and watch them teach? AMAZING! ABSOLUTELY FLABBERGASTED. I can’t wait to see them in their element. I truly walked out a different person this year, and it was absolutely because of all of the attendees and instructors. Definitely missing it already, and I can’t wait for next year🤍
