A layered exploration of control, transformation, and design, this look by designer's from NIFT draws on themes of structure and nature. At the core is a geodesic dome, hand-knitted and built on a welded 3D iron frame,referencing canyon-like forms shaped by time. The skirt features two distinct layers: an outer in muted green with gold zari threadwork and red couching, and an inner golden base embellished with hand-placed rhinestones. Developed as part of coursework at NIFT Hyderabad, the piece reflects a detailed fusion of craft, material, and concept.

One look, two layers, and a world of meaning beneath, this ensemble from a university collection Untapped explores the idea of mental evolution and awakening. The outer layer, a cape made from upcycled rags, durries, and carpets, is entirely hand-tacked to create a textured surface rooted in sustainability. Beneath it, a red bodysuit contrasts sharply, detailed with hand-crocheted webs, beaded tassels, and embedded rhinestones. Together, the look reflects a moment of personal clarity and control, where transformation begins to take shape.
