H ιατρική ταξιαρχία στην Ελλάδα επιβεβαίωσε ότι είμαι προορισμένη να γίνω γιατρός. 🇬🇷💙
Over spring break, I had the privilege of going on my first medical brigade to Athens, Greece, and it was a deeply transformative experience. Volunteering in these communities really opened my eyes to the realities of healthcare in different parts of the world, and it completely solidified my decision to pursue a career in medicine. 🩺
I am so grateful for the opportunity to have shadowed and learned from specialists in ophthalmology, gynecology, pediatrics, and dental medicine. Seeing the impact of compassionate, sustainable care firsthand reaffirmed my purpose and passion for serving others.
Thank you to my incredible group and to everyone who supported this journey. This experience is one I will never forget!

All it takes is a heart for service and a little elbow GREECE! 💪🏼🇬🇷

Over spring break, I had the honor of going on my second medical brigade to Athens, Greece, and this experience was truly eye-opening and transformative. I learned so much, not only about medical practices in other countries, but also about myself and my growing passion for medicine.

I had the opportunity to rotate through multiple specialties including ophthalmology, dental, intake, pediatrics, general health screenings, and obstetrics/gynecology, gaining experience while serving others with empathy, compassion, and care. Through Global Medical Brigades (GMB), I was able to be part of an organization that is deeply committed to sustainable healthcare, cultural humility, and empowering underserved communities around the world. Proud to serve as your Financial Secretary. 🩺⚕️

Being able to leave a lasting impact on communities in need is something I will never take for granted. This experience reaffirmed my purpose and reminded me why I am so passionate about pursuing a career in healthcare.

Thank you to all of those who contributed and invested into my journey to Greece. Without you none of this would be possible. I am so grateful for your generosity and support! 💙

So thankful for this journey, the people I met, and the lives we were able to touch 🤍
