Concept video training with @sincityhtx last night.

Full piece learned in 1 hour.

Focus:
– Fast choreo retention
– Clean formations under pressure
– Working off each other to keep spacing sharp for video
– Seamless transitioning
– Stepping away from the mirror
– Performing for the camera
– Moving with confidence
– And yes… serving CVNT.

This is training for greatness — and boy were they GREAT!!!

the summer i had a meltdown!! being granted the opportunity to perform FOUR times this year was something i dreamed of. to have this dream come true AND put out 2.5 pieces on stage… (oops im gonna yap)

to POP 🫧 thank you @viet_train for giving me the opportunity to live out my pop princess dreams ☹️ putting this type of piece on stage was definitely nerve wracking and foreign to me but i ended up loving it and i got to explore a different side of my creativity 🫶

to sin city 🌹thank you @shardeee_ for challenging me always. i get so excited to tap into a deeper femininity that i feel at home with. since i was 16 when i joined sin every single member on sin constantly inspires me to not only be a better dancer but a better woman.

to AV8 ✈️ thank you @anthonyyvidal for always being such a big inspiration and one of my biggest supporters. your ability to lead a team of 30+ people truly amazes me and on top of that be positive and kind. everyone on this team are some of my bestest friends, i wouldn’t trade the world for y’all. 🫶

finally, to @diversecity.htx 🌐. to be a captain never having even been a member on the team, i am so insanely proud of every single member on this team. to see the growth from day one to meltdown and to hear that the team has inspired some of y’all to keep dancing or fall in love with dancing has me feeling so joyful. my one goal this year as a captain was to make sure every member was in a safe space. thank you to every DVC member that was patient with me, trusted me, and became lifelong friends. i love y’all so much 🫶

thank you to @mini_tuan for granting me the opportunity (barely knowing who i was) to put my art out on stage. words cannot describe how thankful and grateful i am to you. i couldn’t have asked for a better first directing experience. it is sad to see that DVC is no longer but it will always stay in my heart for the rest of my life. thank you DVC 🫶

big thanks to my biggest supporter, beef 🥩 @v.youngg who always supported me through the late nights and crash outs :)

& lastly thank you to @soundboxtx for hosting a great show and fostering such a supportive community 🫶
