Our families planned the surprise engagement party of our dreams!✨ That’s Amore!❤️ The day was a whirlwind, but absolutely perfect. No words can describe the immense pride I have in my coworkers, this team, and our amazing community. We did something historic, record-breaking, and important for women’s sports.

We showed the positive outcome of real investment in women’s sports—and the fans that follow when you truly put them at the heart of the club.

3 years ago, I joined a group called For Denver FC that had a vision: bring professional women’s soccer to Colorado.

Over time, this dream grew into a reality, and now I can’t believe I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of this journey.

I will forever be proud of this day. Thank you, Denver 🥹

Our adventure in Oaxaca continued with a mix of excitement and longing as our friends and family, who were supposed to join us, faced delays in the States. Even though we missed their presence, we carried on exploring the vibrant centro of Oaxaca, filled with bustling energy and a wealth of cultural experiences.

We tasted toasted grasshoppers, better known as chapulines – even little Iyla embraced her true Mexican spirit and tried one!

The Templo captivated us with its breathtaking beauty, a photographer’s dream. Though I wished for a wide-angle lens, my zoom lens managed to capture the architecture.

Kicked off the adventure in Oaxaca with big smiles from pops and Iyla at our Airbnb. Then, we set out to explore the vibrant city streets. The captivating art, delicious kombucha, rich coffee, and stunning architecture of Oaxaca created a lively, festive vibe that we couldn’t resist!

As we traversed the city, I found myself falling in love with photography all over again, particularly with the magic of film. I I challenged myself to focus on mastering framing and lighting techniques. The anticipation of seeing the final results, never quite knowing how the photographs will turn out, added an excitement to the whole trip! #oaxaca
