Happy Staff Sunday!!

This week, we’re introducing James Horse, the first regiment inspector general officer and the adjutant/discipline officer. His home outfit is G-2. Cadet Horse is from Imperial Beach, California, majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. After college, he plans to commission as a Submarine Officer in the Navy.
Off the Quad, Cadet Horse is involved in @singingcadets.
Cadet Horse joined the Corps because he wanted an ROTC experience with a disciplined lifestyle and the opportunity to lead. His favorite memory has been doing half of March to the Brazos on crutches his Sophomore year.
His advice to the fish is to “don’t make your whole identity the Corps. One of the best things about Texas A&M’s Corps of Cadets, compared to other Senior military colleges, is that you can interact with organizations and groups of people who aren’t involved with the Corps. Find a group that helps you with your professional career and find a group that feeds your soul.”

Texas A&M 150 Sesquicentennial kick off. 🎉

The Opening Ceremony on Friday was outstanding.
The event was a fabulous way to weave together the history and story of Texas A&M through speakers, music, and videos.
It was all very well done. The event being moved inside Rudder due to weather was actually a good thing - better seating, sound, views, and effects.

The best part - the ending with the Aggie Band surprising the audience from the balcony. Wow! 😍

Lots of incredible and emotional stories of Texas A&M’s past 150 years. 👍🏻

It was a very special and very busy weekend in Aggieland. 🤗

Texas A&M Distinguished Alumni Gala 2026.👍🏻

Friday evening over 950 gathered to honor 12 of the best of Texas A&M graduates. 🎉

I was very honored to be a guest of Monty and Becky Davis at the table with their wonderful family. Extremely happy that Monty was recognized as one of this year’s Distinguished Alumni. He and Becky have done so much for Texas A&M, our students, and Aggie family. Very well deserved - we love y’all. 💕

A beautiful and elegant evening. Always enjoy getting to connect and visit with so many Aggies and being a part of this very special event. 😍

Congratulations to the 2026 Distinguished Alumni - thank you for all you do and your embodiment of the Aggie core values.

Be sure to watch the video clips. 😊
