POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thank you to the @criticschoice Documentary Film Awards for recognizing our film and the journalists who courageously tell their stories. Protecting the first amendment and press freedoms is more important than ever, and we are both honored by this recognition and hopeful that this will help to more broadly share the crucial work that is being done by the @freedomofthepressfoundation @uspresstracker

What if the impossible happened to you and you finally found someone without judgement willing to listen? Tomorrow we open the archives. I am very proud to share with @octoberfilms_ ARCHIVE X: UNEXPLAINED PHENOMENA, a documentary series I developed with @octoberfilms_ and co-directed exploring extraordinary accounts through the EXPERIENCERS who lived them and @riceuniversity @ricehumanities Center of the Impossible. The DNA of the series are people who have come out from the shadows to tell their truth which will hopefully spur questions that deserve a deeper conversation around consciousness and what it means to be HUMAN. Maybe the veil is thinner than we ever imagined? Premiere’s tomorrow Oct 1 on AMC+ and Sundance TV. SEND THIS TO A FRIEND WHO NEEDS TO KNOW REALITY IS STRANGER THAN WE COULD EVER IMAGINE. #archivex #amc #amcplus #archivesoftheimpossible #unexplainedphenomena Have you ever experienced something truly uncanny and supernatural that you couldn’t explain?

It's my birthday today so I'm celebrating it by giving a shout out to all the wonderful people I've collaborated with over this past year. I'm honored to work with so many talented and creative people whom I also consider good friends. I'm also grateful for the support I get from my loved ones (special shoutout @drshivanakrishnan). I just hope I get to keep making cool things with my friends and not forced to churn out AI celebrity slop for the hologram children of oligarchs.

How do you compress 60 years of memories into 3 minutes? Full of love and gratitude as I announce that Hermano Hermana will have its World Premiere at one of my favorite festivals, @miamifilm 🤍 This is a homegrown, handmade short directed by my dad @r.cuartas, my brother @michaelcuartasdop and me! Using a claymation world beautifully rendered by my dad, and real family photos spanning from the 60s to the 90s, from Miami to Colombia, Hermano Hermana weaves a tapestry of memories between long-lost siblings, ruminating on who we leave behind when we die, and who we meet again. Thank you to @miamifilm for hosting the film, and to our tiny, yet talented cast and crew! This film is dedicated to the memory of Fabian and Maribel Cuartas 🤍
