@blackmerlin occupies a distinctive space within contemporary techno, combining hypnotic rhythm with organic percussion, field recordings and dense, atmospheric textures. His productions often blur the boundaries between the industrial and the ritualistic, creating music that feels deeply immersive and tactile.

For Monument Podcast, he takes us on a patient journey through stripped-back rhythms, shadowy atmospheres and subtle layers of texture. A hypnotic and absorbing session that gradually reveals itself with every movement.

Listen now on our SoundCloud and YouTube channels or wherever you get your podcasts.

☉ Mix 24: @irakli.wav

Irakli lets us imagine what one of his DJ sets might sound like. In this mix he sets cerebral techno against its more physical counterpart, taking us on a journey through a sound that’s anything but predictable.

Late post but it felt so wrong to post anything music related last week while the people of my country were going through a revolution of sorts.

But I have a new podcast out for Reclaim Your City. This one is a deep, steadily building 2 hour journey traversing through weird and wonderful soundscapes.

Thank you @ryc.official for inviting me and all the artists who’s music I’ve played in this mix.
The last two slides mention every artist included :)

Dig in and I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I did recording it! ❤️

Also opportune time to say India - It’s time to Reclaim Our Country!✊🏻

The Dig EP # 16, with a special guest mix from Aidan McCullen, is now available to listen back on Soundcloud.

Hour one features many heavy hitters and new releases, while Aidan shares what is a wonderful collection of hardcore, rave and old-skool in the second half. Events and shoutouts as usual, of course- this show was a pleasure to put together and I hope you all enjoy it.

Hearing the story of how Aidan decided to dive back into the world of DJing and dance music, with his son being the catalyst, is also not one to be missed. 😊

Have a brilliant start to your week!
