White chocolate button garnish

A unpublished throwback from my time at @goodthings.xyz , super weird but somehow works super well, sweet, slightly nutty and funkiness from the black truffle but smoothness from the chocolate and sherry.

Tonight.

England take on Mexico in the Round of 16, and we’re doing it properly.

From 5pm, @sipistry_uk are taking over the garden once again alongside @vrumofficial and @londonessenceco all evening to get you ready for the match.

To celebrate Brazil’s game, we’ve also got a Picanha special and fresh Caipirinhas running today while they last.

Then it’s all eyes on the big one as England go chasing a place in the quarter-finals. We’re expecting a huge atmosphere, so if you’re planning on joining us, don’t leave it until the last minute.

Sipistry Garden Takeover from 5pm
Picanha special
Fresh Caipirinhas
Mexico vs England - 1am Kick-Off
Open until 4:30am

This is what the World Cup is all about. Good food, great drinks, and hopefully another England win. See you tonight 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Thank❤️You to @isabellelarter for a wonderful impromptu and 100% unexpected afternoon with the girls being treated as Queens by the staff at @figurati_southampton including the hugely talented and charming @sipistry_uk who created bespoke mocktails for the kids and a legendary Rum Sour for me. Highlight for T was getting to make a herbal tea with her chosen ingredients and then curling up under a blanket with live acoustic music! Above and beyond! Loved every second. Thanks Issy and team!! ❤️❤️ @southampton

A little night at @thealexsouthampton for the @sipistry_uk Rum Room takeover 🍸

The cocktails were so good; we tried the Sour Sherbert (white rum, citrus, sugar, lime cordial & vegan foamer; super fresh and zesty) and the Garden Daiquiri (overproof rum, elderflower, cucumber cordial, lime & mint; strong but really fresh). Both so well balanced and honestly just really easy to drink.

And the food… just as good. From steak with chimichurri to beef & leek croquettes and French onion mac ‘n’ cheese; very much a “let’s order everything and share” kind of place, and we definitely did 😅

Such a good night all round. Definitely keep an eye on @sipistry_uk to see where they pop up next, and @thealexsouthampton have just launched a new menu which I’m already planning to go back and try 👏

(Not a sponsored ad in any way. Just showing you the things I enjoy ☺️)

Tonight’s the night.

From 7PM we’re turning the bar into The Rum Room for a cocktail takeover with the team @sipistry_uk , built around @vrumofficial - a premium rum distilled right here in Hampshire.

The guys at Sipistry have put together a special menu just for tonight featuring:

• Alexandra Be Sippin’ - sweet, nutty and ridiculously smooth
• Gab’z Rum Punch - tropical, fruity and very easy drinking
• Mad Old Fashioned - overproof rum with a spicy, savoury kick

All £10, all made fresh, and mocktail versions available as well.

If you’re into cocktails, good rum, or just fancy trying something a bit different on a Saturday night - this is it.
