$On show at the exhibition Continuons Le Combat at MICE, Viale Brianza 30, Milano. The exhibition looks at the Italian political T-shirt archive of Giampaolo Bernardini, founder of Continuons Le Combat, the guerrilla brand started in Pescara in 1991. What works is the collision of protest, parody, anti-brand graphics, left-wing politics and street-level publishing. These are not just T-shirts as merchandise. They are T-shirts as political surfaces, sold through demonstrations, subcultures and informal networks. The language is unstable in the best way. Revolutionary symbols sit next to brand spoofs. Marx becomes merch. Cannabis graphics borrow corporate identity. C.P. Company is refracted through C.C.C.P. Company. The T-shirt becomes a cheap, mobile, public medium for politics, humour, allegiance and dissent. Visits are by appointment only. DM @get_mice to book. Presented by @get_mice in colaboration with @ragazzi__di__strada #tshirtarchive #politicaltshirt #mensweararchive #italianstreetwear #fashionarchive$
