This Robert Buchner-designed building, now home to the Tulsa Foundation for Architecture and AIA, is one of them.

And just a few degrees away, Buchner’s work intersects with Dustin’s own story — through the former Florence Park Library, his family, and years of Tulsa history layered into one place.

Knowing the city is more than knowing the streets. It’s knowing what shaped them.

Neighborhood Watch with Dustin Thames: Brentwood/Wildwood. 👀

We’re getting about as insider as it gets. Dustin is taking us through his childhood home (still owned by his family and, no, not for sale 😉) to show us the details that make this pocket of Wildwood so timeless.

The original windows. Plaster molding that still frames the rooms. Old brass hardware that’s earned its patina. Stonework laid when this neighborhood was first taking shape.

Every couple has a homebuying department.
