POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Grace is not for perfect people. It is for the broken, the messy, the still-healing, and the ones who don’t have it all figured out. . .

That’s the beauty of grace; it meets us exactly where we are, but loves us too deeply to leave us there.

Have you watched our latest episode with a Christian counsellor yet?

We’re unpacking mother wounds, father wounds, childhood pain, and the parts of our story that may still be shaping us today; even when we think we’ve moved on.

Healing isn’t about blaming our parents. It’s about becoming aware of what still hurts, allowing God into those places, and learning healthier ways of relating to ourselves and others.

This conversation is honest, vulnerable, faith-filled, and so necessary. 🥹

YOUR CHILDHOOD STILL HURTS.

You grew up; but did the wounds grow up with you?

Sometimes the rejection, abandonment, criticism, emotional absence or instability we experienced as children quietly follows us into adulthood; shaping how we love, how we trust, how we see ourselves, and sometimes even how we relate to God.

In this episode of Messy Faith, Real Grace, we sit down with a Christian counsellor for an honest conversation about mother wounds, father wounds, childhood pain, forgiveness, boundaries, faith and the importance of counselling.

Because loving Jesus doesn’t mean there aren’t places in your heart that still need healing.

Philisa Fam thank you for coming to our very first Social Based Therapy. The conversations were deep, reflections raised self awareness 💕The Lord helped us dismantle false beliefs of isolation and hyper individualism. We spoke about the inner dialogues that take place when we meet new people, the distorted frameworks we carry into spaces. The truth is we are loved, accepted, and belong in Christ. In our quest to find answers we lifted our voices in prayer and asked our Lord Jesus to help us and remember going to therapy is okay👌🏼

This past weekend, I had the beautiful opportunity to celebrate me—embracing 30+2 surrounded by my dearest friends and family. My heart is overflowing with gratitude for the gift of life, for God’s incredible blessings over my journey, my career, and most importantly, for surrounding me with friends who truly reflect His love.

Thank you for celebrating with me, for showing up, and for making this moment so special. I will cherish it forever. Here’s to a blessed birthday month! ✨ ♥️

I had the privilege of speaking on financial literacy, freedom, and debt on @sowetotv . During my talk, I emphasized that while the gospel of financial literacy has already been preached, we need to start understanding why so many struggle to implement it. There are numerous factors affecting our finances—high living costs, trauma-informed spending, and monopolized supply chains that keep inflate prices. We need to explore low-cost business models and rethink our pricing strategies. For example, charging the same rates in urban areas as we do in villages or townships isn’t sustainable. We must foster localized startups that cater to the specific needs of their communities. Innovation in our approaches and strategies is key to winning this battle.# Let’s move the conversation forward!!
