Listening to my body more, taking care of my mental, observing my relationships, not filling my plate up so much to avoid letting anyone down, guarding myself, letting go of the daily pressed anxiety, being more intentional with my time, sitting in the sun, and not worrying so much about the things I can’t control

Think of your life as currency. When you give, feel, and do so much without putting back…you become empty and unable to give in the ways you want to.

If you protect yourself and find a even balance, you’ll start to see the things around you thrive

Now that @velocitydanceconvention is finally over I just want to flaunt how amazing my students are‼️ I’m so proud of all their hard work from my little babies all the way to my 18 year olds, thank you for showing the Elektro way to the judges and the audience‼️Also a huge thank you to these people (@goose.tavo_ , @shultztay , @betolovestacos , @annakjonez_ , @georgeelektro , @ani.chastain, @rai.miz ) for being by my side throughout all these long days, y’all teach me everyday how to be a better director‼️ that being said here’s the accomplishments all my kids have done‼️

from senior night, to my last studio competition, on to my first college dance clinic. this month has really hit me with the fact that I am growing up. I am so grateful to be part of such amazing teams and am so sad to see my 11 years of competing coming to an end. thank you @elektrodanceacademy for the last two seasons, you have made my studio experience so incredible. thank you @cvhs_srdc for letting me be one of your leaders this year, it has been nothing but fun!

this weekend was AMAZING. i loved taking from such inspiring teachers and getting to compete with this team one last time. i’m so grateful to have received true performer @intriguedanceconvention !! a huge thank you to all my directors and teammates and i love u all so much.

here’s some new news though…
so it may not look like it from this weekend, but i tore my meniscus about 2 months ago! i decided to go all out and take as many classes as possible this weekend. i chose to dance through this for 3 competitions and 2 conventions because i know how much i’m going to miss dancing for the rest of the season. i’ll be out for a bit, but i’m definitely coming back as soon as i can.
