POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

i have an album i made i haven’t released yet, but i think im ready to just lock it up and put it out and make new things for a second body of work. i tend to execute work for other clients so fast but when it comes to myself it’s either impulsive or deliberated on for years, if i could have endless time i would want it. the reality though is that there is no such thing when you have a limited run here on earth. instead of gate keeping yourself and others why not just flow and let go, without judgement or concern as to the outcome. something i hate seeing is people holding themselves from exploring their life given right to expression because they think they need some sort of permission. or even seeing insecure people or even artists critically judge who can and can’t express themselves. it’s all our right to, otherwise that creative life force becomes destructive to yourself and others so might as well guide it and let it free.

“rewind” by @sister.void from my archives is out today on all platforms 🦋🦋🦋

it’s been awhile of sitting on music from my archives, and while my ideas keep coming and i have the honor of experimenting with different artists it feels good to release art even if you’re in a new era. sometimes we have quiet periods of reflection and experience and sometimes we are fruitful and creative =]

people often ask me why i do so many creative things and the answer is simple, it’s because i am curious, i like it, i can. it’s cathartic and fun for me. in my head all the art i do makes sense together living in the same world, w one type of art informing the other form i practice 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋

Last weekend a group of us came together to raise emergency funds for @_abeer_ismail and @haitham.gaza. It was a beautiful night and I want to thank every single person from the bottom of my heart who contributed to making this happen. Your participation and attendance went towards saving the lives of these families. @_abeer_ismail and @haitham.gaza’s GoFundMe’s are linked in my bio - you can still donate if you haven’t! Also consider making small ongoing monthly donations if it’s within your means.

In light of the success and demand for a follow-up to this event, we are pleased to announce that details for our next fundraiser will be shared soon. We remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting Palestinians suffering senselessly under American imperialism and will not rest until they are safe. The struggle endures, and so do we. Free Palestine.

saturday 10/26 ⚔️ @shitartclub x @motherfunk_events 🤍 i am at 11pm!

Hello! I am Lindsey, a director, performer and multidisciplinary artist who created a musical project called Sister Void. “Sister Void” who debuted at Shit Art Club in February, explores the quest for liberation as if a nun had a fall from grace into the void. I use my background to create immersive performances, blending dance, live music, and avant-garde elements.

Joining me will be the ICONIC “Baby Long Legs” (@gothandgay) - Baby Long Legs is a vibrant drag queen, dazzling audiences as a charismatic host, talented musician, and dynamic actor. With a striking blend of goth glam and whimsical flair, their style will captivate you! Originating from the bustling New York City scene, they now bring their unique style to LA and we really do love to see it.

—

I can’t wait to reunite with so many of you for this third live Sister Void full set ever outside of performance art and DJing. We will dance and play and get all of the horrors out of our spirits together. I don’t know about you but I have not been sleeping for shit lately, haunted by thoughts and anxieties, and I use this practice to ground myself and literally exorcise all the bad energy to feel refreshed and ready for anything. Join meeee 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 link in bio
