Spiffy at the Gala

It’s hard for me to describe what these last few months have meant to me, but I’ll try. As I finish up hitting a goal I set out to accomplish at the beginning of this year, for some reason, my mind keeps going back to my mission. Whether that is because I got home from my time in Florida three years ago this week or not I don’t know, but I can’t shake it from my mind. If you had told me then that this is where I would be 3 years down the line I would’ve laughed. There’s a scripture in 2 Corinthians that got me through a lot back then and it still does now.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

I’m so grateful for the challenges that these last few months have been for me and the growth that I’ve been able to see in myself and the people I was lucky enough to surround myself with. I know that without God‘s help I would not be where I am today, and I know working hard and trusting His timing has helped me get to this point. I would like to thank all my family and friends and leaders for supporting me and helping me achieve my goal, especially when I thought I bit off more than I can chew. Many conversations come to mind where I felt like I was up against a wall with no way through, but there’s always a way. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that we can do anything we want. The words we speak matter. Who we’re around matters. So grateful for my time at summer camp this year!

And just like that… Back home and the most influential summer of my life comes to a close

Too many moments, memories, thoughts to capture in a caption, so I’ll keep it brief

I left home four months ago to rediscover myself and pave a way for my life moving forward— a cultivation of my own

Needless to say, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done

The people disclosed in this post changed my life in ways I’d never have the ability to confess and I am forever grateful

Proud to say God had his way blessing me with these individuals and the opportunity to grow into something greater

One of the greatest blessings I hate to say I’ve overlooked my entire life: my family

Traveling apart only knitted us tighter

I can’t wait to live these days at home through a new set of eyes and values

Thank you, SISU. I love you guys.

I’ll wave our flag high. 🏴‍☠️🤟🏼

SEE YOU GUYS ON THE CRUISE🤙🏼🏄🏻‍♂️
