🤩Behind the scenes of - MEMOIRS OF MUD -

Nature and artificiality - two supposed opposites - come together in Based on Kimberly’s ”Memoirs of Mud”.
In a playful, provocative, and adventurous circus show two performers explore nothing less than life in all its complexity. Relentlessly and with acrobatic virtuosity, they navigate through sterile living environments and muddy terrain. They balance on swinging trapezes and fight with antlers made of ginger, transform handbags into greenhouses and potatoes into crowns. In this bizarre universe, there are no limits to absurdity and playfulness.

Tack för i år! Det blev fantastiska dagar med cirkus i den sjunde upplagan av CirkusMania, 6-15 februari 2026!
I ett samarbete av 12 scener presenterade vi 14 sprillans nya föreställningar som speglar den svenska cirkusscenen just här och just nu. Urpremiärer, work in progress, experiment och tradition. Vi är också stolta över att även i år, i samarbete med Riksteatern och CirkusExpo, kunnat erbjuda branschdagar för artister och arrangörer under festivalens andra helg.

Quintessential new wave, new wonk circus. Experimental, physical, fashionable, and satirical work by Inka and Imogen.’

Yes Person is a circus show that celebrates ideas too peculiar to live—but too fabulous to die. Inspired by the concept of ”killing one’s darlings,” the creative process of discarding beloved but unfit ideas, this performance breathes new life into those very darlings.

Embracing the rule of ‘yes-saying’ in devising quickly leads to an expansive wasteland of ideas. From the dregs of their old creative processes—the sediment of ideas left behind, too mismatched, ambitious, or nonsensical to fit into past creations—comes a performance that gives these discarded concepts a second chance to flourish, expand, and spiral out of control.
