A walk through of Project Stanley. It’s hard to encapsulate just how high this beautiful home has been raised through a video.

Incredible work by @steelehouseraising & @hulkdemolition

Basement slab on ground — poured.

If I knew this project would test my relationship with rain gauges this much, I’d have bought shares in an umbrella company.

Weeks of delays. One good weather window. And a crew that didn’t blink.

This is what patience looks like on a premium build, you wait for the conditions to be right, not just convenient.

17 Discovery St, Red Hill.
Two residences. Zero shortcuts.

The deepest point of Red Hill. 6 metres down, and from here every step is upward.
Forget how hard the ground was. Reaching the bottom took digging through some of the wettest months Canberra has seen in years. The basement is complete with slab on ground ready to pour next week. The build goes vertical from here. #urbndg #construction #luxuryhomes #canberraproperty #design

A basement shouldn’t feel like a basement.

So we didn’t build one.

Come down the driveway with me. Through the four-car garage, into a lobby that opens around a helical staircase, then look up. That oculus skylight pulls soft, natural light all the way down to the lowest level of the home.

Past the accessible lift. Into a fourth bedroom and bathroom that both hold their own daylight. Finishing where every day should, a future wellness retreat with ice bath and sauna.

This is the level most builders treat as an afterthought. It’s the one we designed hardest. #builtbyurbn #luxuryhomes #propertydevelopment #construction #comingsoon

Construction Series: Browning.

Most people only ever see the finished house. This is the part we find most beautiful - the construction phase through to handover.

Browning now complete which was a project in collaboration with Fiona Collie Architects. Working with great architects is the part of this business we enjoy most, watching a shared vision come together!

We documented the whole thing, start to finish. The full story’s in our saved highlights.

Construction Series: Rennie

We love the building process of a design and build more than anything else. This is where concept becomes reality—every detail refined to deliver the highest quality finish.

Rennie is currently underway and approaching fixing stage. We’ve been incredibly lucky to share the full end-to-end journey with our clients, who have now become friends. It’s the beauty of what we do.
