and it's out! with the release of Tenis Mojados, Sitko's Sad Boys Club is fully out for world to enjoy. appreciate everyone who lent us their ears throughout the process and everyone who gave a helping hand. this project originally started immediately after Sitko's first was released. He had mentioned,in passing, that he wsnted to start these differently a few days later I sent him the core drum sound of what would become the title track. it's crazy how the process for these joints ended up so detached from the first and I'm honestly looking forward to the evolution on the next ones - we've been working on a stack of them 😌

I originally wrote Princess Naomi in my sleep and I woke up to sing the different parts into my phone before I forgot them, the catalyst was an unrequited crush. I had been wanting to make a song you could dance to and @_cymk helped me out to get the beat while, @sitkomusic performed the bass loop and @gabriellealascencio helped me embellish it with the synths.

Sometimes not getting what you want isn’t all that bad, and nothing slaps like twerking to my own misfortune.

Video drops Friday :)

"No Se Que Mierda Está Sucediendo" - Roserval Leon

I've known Roserval for some time now and we've ended up collaborating quite a few times over the years. our "just fucking around" approach always led to weird and interesting results that would tickle the senses. so when @roservalrlr hit me up to work on a track from the new batch of songs he'd been playing with, I jumped in head first. wasn't long before I was handed @elflacoradical 's bass line and started getting knee deep into the drums. appreciate the call on this.

big thank you to Jack for wrapping this all up beautifully.

phew. life's been coming at my neck but we back at it! scanning old negatives spurred thoughts on curation back in my head. to pick, choose, select, edit, limit with intention guides and creates an experience. I find this reflected in my approach. along with time, it's a recurring concept, a mantra maybe, that seeps it's way into the things I care for.

Limerence - @sitkomusic

around the end of February, beginnings of March Sitko hit me up about a song that was very important to him. After sharing the rough sketch and talking about the context and situation we started our usual meet ups. took our time with this one and really liking how things turned out. always a good time.

Limerence is available for streaming everywhere.

be on the lookout for what's to come 🤫
