POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The true value of independent cinema lies in the ability to overcome every technical limitation through an absolute narrative conviction. Our awarded short film Shattered Petals will be officially available in early December following a festival run that exceeded all our expectations. Having been selected in thirteen festivals when our initial goal was ten this project proves the profound impact of visual storytelling built with minimal resources. My deepest gratitude goes out to the entire cast and crew who made it possible to transform a zero budget production into an award winning cinematic work.

Edit: We have 16 festival selections already!

The festival circuit journey has been incredible but the time has finally come to share our vision directly with the audience. Our awarded short film Shattered Petals is officially releasing in early December 2026. Built on the resilience of independent cinema this story explores guilt psychological repression and the internal collapse of a character trapped by their own choices. Through a calculated narrative structure we aimed to create an immersive atmosphere that completely subverts genre clichés while honoring the true filmmaking craft.

The festival journey of our short film Shattered Petals continues to expand into new spaces dedicated to genre cinema. We are proud to announce our thirteenth official selection as part of the Gator's Gore Film Festival 2026 lineup in Tampa. Bringing this complex exploration of psychological repression and guilt to audiences who value bold independent cinema proves the undeniable impact of deliberate visual storytelling. Deep gratitude to the festival organization for creating space for a project built with total devotion to the filmmaking craft and zero commercial compromise.

Incredibly grateful to announce that Shattered Petals has been officially selected by the Unholy TV Film Festival. This marks our fifth festival selection, and we're just getting started. We're confident we'll surpass ten festivals in the coming months.
None of this would be possible without the amazing crew, the talented actors, and every single person who poured their time and energy into bringing this short film to life. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
And thank you to Unholy TV Film Festival for the opportunity to be part of your platform. More news coming soon. Stay tuned.

Posting your work online as a filmmaker can be a strange experience. The moment you start sharing your projects, short films, or behind-the-scenes footage on social media, you quickly realize something: the reactions are never the same. Sometimes the people closest to you are the most skeptical, while complete strangers on the internet are the ones who support your work the most. It’s part of the creative journey. Every filmmaker, artist, and creator who decides to put their work out into the world eventually learns this lesson.

This year started with an idea: moving to Dallas.
A new place. A new chapter. I joined school, trying to build something from the ground up.

In February, we received the news that changed everything. We were going to have our daughter, Faith. We started the year with faith, and we had to live up to it.

In October, our daughter was born, changing our lives forever.

It was a hard year. No point in pretending otherwise. There were struggles, doubts, and moments when I questioned everything. Moments when things didn’t go my way, when the weight felt heavy. But creating, and my wife by my side, helped me survive through the hardest times.

Above all, I’m grateful to God for the wisdom and strength to face this year, and for the blessing of my family. I’m especially grateful for the courage of my wife, Ingryd, for standing by me even when things were at their lowest. For being strong for both of us while carrying our daughter, and for never letting us fall apart.

For my daughter, Lyanne Faith, and for every person who supported me and walked with me throughout this year.

Sometimes, when you’re inside the storm, all you can see are the problems. But when you step back, especially during this beautiful holiday season, you realize how much beauty there was along the way.

Nothing in life is purely black or white. Everything carries both light and shadow.

Trusting God, even when the path is unclear.

Grateful for this year. Ready for what’s next.
