A few months back I dragged my entire entourage to Copenhagen to help me take all the photos for my upcoming book 💃😂 (I asked my Dad if he wanted to come too, but he had to work 🙃). 4 days, 17 knits, a 4 month old baby, countless ice lattes and 7 suitcases later and it was a wrap! 😅 Book coming out later this year! 🤩

This week in photos- mostly knitting and being with baby Edvin 🥰 I got myself a new blue Pride & Pearls cardigan that just needs a final touch of buttons, I can’t wait to get to wear it 💙 The pattern and tutorial are available at kutovakika.com.

I’m just one sleeve away from finishing my cream colored comfort knit that’s kept me company these days between breast feeding and napping. It still needs a name, any suggestions? 🧐

Wishing you a lovely weekend from our little baby bubble 🥰

My third Cinema sweater is almost ready for sleeve island -phase next 🏝️ I’m absolutely in love with this fuzzy speckled fabric these two yarns produce, I’m using one strand of @madelinetosh Merino Light in the color Horn together with one strand of @dropsdesign Brushed Alpaca Silk. I can already see how this will be a fave this Winter 🥰
Pattern and video tutorial for the Cinema Sweater are coming next week 🥳

Kika & Juki 10.9.2022 💍💕 I’m a married woman now!! And the dramatic reveal: finally full body photos of my handknitted wedding dress that I designed and created in 6 weeks 😁The last frill at the bottom of the dress gave it that final “wow!” effect that I was going for, thank goodness my idea worked out! 😅 Yesterday was a day filled with so much love and laughter, tears of joy, good friends, dancing, hugs and kisses, bubbles and cake, and I’m filled with so much gratitude today ❤️🥹 #knitwithkika #knittedweddingdress #diyweddingdress #crochetdress #laceknitting #laceknittersofinstagram #knittingforolive #bohobride #bohoweddingdress

I’m slowly coming down from the incredible high last weekend was, and I wanted to share some photos from the wedding in our new home with you 🥰

My biggest goal for the day was to be able to enjoy it without getting caught up in expectations or stress, and even though the fire that broke out in the kitchen just hours before the wedding gave us quite a scare and adrenaline rush (luckily no one got hurt) 😅, I can honestly say I was fully present and enjoyed the festivities with every cell in my body, until early in the morning 💃🥳

Thank you so much @adamapple.co.uk for the incredibly beautiful biodegradable confetti 🌺

And thank you Jonas Kukkonen for the wonderful photos 📸
