I don't think there could possibly be a better announcement 🥰 to start this Monday off with.Skippy arrived in NYC 30 days ago Via Amazon Prime private Cargo flight, the fastest & first delivery via Prime of a Special needs Pitbull.A lot has happened in those past 30 days.Skippy settled into his new medical foster home in Brooklyn & learned the lay of the land the 1st week. He immediately bonded w/ his foster mom (who's also a pediatrics nurse), she was just as smitten w/ him. Skippy had his neurology consult, his surgical consult & CT- SCAN. Skippy is NOT a candidate for surgery. However, he IS a candidate for PT. We're sorting out that intensive schedule, he'll be attending Water 4 Dogs, we'll be reaching out to them shortly. That's not all, his foster mom extraordinaire, has decided to adopt him. Read it again. Skippy is beyond so gorgeously, infinitely, perfectly, unconditionally loved by Kayla—goofy barks, skinny lanky legs, muscled strength, wrinkles, wobbly bits & all. Every single part of his body temple is beautiful to his mom. She keeps him healthy by feeding his body with nutrients that support it, loving him hard, & working w/ his physical constraints. She holds & loves all of his adorable parts. There ISN’T a better person in the world for Skippy to be with to call his family. This is just the beginning of the VERY big plans these 2 have together, you'll all be seeing a lot more of Skippy & Kayla's plans. I looked at Kayla's instagram & noticed a picture she took exactly a year ago. She was holding a jar of SKIPPY Peanut Butter & eating out of it w/a 🥄 (another reason why she's a great catch).I mean who takes a 📷 of themselves eating out of a jar of Skippy? Clearly the future was forecasted & meant to be. There are no coincidences. I'm a firm believer in fate. There was a huge force that had a hand in Skippy's fate. The shelter that begged for this his life down to the last hour, the volunteer at the shelter who 📹 him on the grass to show his potential, TX foster Sheri, DPA, Sali & her flight team, ALL OF YOU. The dog that was trying to make the best out of surviving given his limitations didn't want to die. He needed 1 person to believe in him.
