This year changed everything.

I went full time.
I hit a goal I once thought was an unrealistic dream. I hit six figures 😱

I travelled over 50,000kms across the Great Southern, Wheatbelt, South West, Pilbara, Kimberley, East Arnhem Land and Central Australia, chasing stories and sunsets. 🙌🏽

I spent two months up north (pregnant) photographing weddings, living out of the car, running on servo snacks and adrenaline.

Jack was meant to come... but his knee had other plans (rude). So he stayed home for a knee surgery.
So my dad met me in Kununurra and we drove all the way to East Arnhem Land together... and then right back down south.
A trip l’Il never forget.

I had my work published in Graziher Magazine. 👏🏽
I hosted my first ever photography retreat.
And I photographed 126 bookings - 126 stories, families, couples, moments, and memories.

And somewhere in amongst all of that… I welcomed our beautiful baby, Drew 🤍
The biggest, most grounding moment of the year and the one that’s shifted everything in the best way. 🥹❤️

This year was dusty, chaotic, emotional, exhausting and so bloody rewarding.

It reminded me why! do this. For the connection, the country, the people who feel like mates by the end of a session.

Thank you for trusting me, for showing up as yourselves, and for letting me turn this wild dream into a real life. Here’s to whatever the next chapter brings. 🫶🏽❤️

Five years ago, I quit my 9 to 5 job and university to chase my dream of being a wedding photographer. My younger self would never have believed where this journey would lead. Building something from the ground up has stretched me in ways I never imagined. Here are five lessons I’ve learned along the way for anyone chasing their dream of running their own business!

Celebrating 5 years in business! 🍾

What an incredible journey this has been. None of this would have been possible without the support of my couples, family, partner, friends, mentors, and the people working quietly behind the scenes. Because of you, I have been able to capture over 200 weddings, telling love stories across New Zealand and in places like the USA, Italy, and Switzerland.

Five years ago, I quit my 9 to 5 job and university to chase my dream of being a wedding photographer. My younger self would never have believed where this journey would lead. Today, I get to work in one of the most popular wedding destinations in New Zealand, something that once began as a simple dream.

Along the way, I have learned more than I ever expected about myself, creating work I’m genuinely proud of, and what it truly means to run a business while giving my couples an unforgettable experience. Building something from the ground up has stretched me in ways I never imagined.

Some pinch me moments have been photographing my first destination wedding this year in Arizona, being featured in magazines like @togetherjournal, and being named in a Top 10 category of the International Wedding Photographer of the Year @iwpotyawards. But more than anything, I feel incredibly grateful to do work that allows me to connect with people and their stories in a meaningful way, whilst being part of such a supportive industry.

Here is to five years of learning, growing, and capturing love, and to everything still to come!!
