Mahogany Moments Hit Different… ❤️⚓️
We brought our furloughed government employees out on the water for a little peace, a little joy, and a whole lot of community love.

This experience was already in motion and @livinglocaldmv_ with Corrina Delgado wanted to highlight the heart behind it. What you’re seeing today is the mission in action: a full-on Mahogany therapy session on the Potomac. Sun, smiles, oysters, laughs, and a mental reset that everybody deserved.

Major love to the queens who came aboard. We hope we gave you a moment of relief from the stress and uncertainty that comes with holding this government together. You deserve softness, rest, and joy! And this was just a small way to pour back into you.

This wasn’t Knotty Call Charters this was Mahogany Yacht Charters, one of the many hats I proudly wear as Lead Captain. This time, we did it for the culture and for the community.

Shoutout to every Black-owned business that made this moment special:
🛥️ @mahogany_yacht_charters — hosting and giving away the free 2-hour charter
🍷 Wines & spirits from Black-owned brands
🍽️ Catering by @lydiaonhst & @sixstreetcatering
🦪 Oysters by the legendary Oyster Ninja @s.s.shucking
💅 Complimentary manicures from @_antoniamichaela

And big love to @livinglocaldmv_ and @corinnadelgado for shining a light on the mission and the movement.

When the DMV shows up for each other, magic happens every single time.
Mahogany Moments forever. 💯⚓️
