‘A website highlighting important food supply services provided by St John’s’ 🥘 📦

We were so pleased to be asked to help out with the amazing work that @sjebp do for their local community ⛪️

We were asked to provide a website for their soup kitchen, to highlight times available and information about volunteering ℹ️

They already had their own branding so our job was to bring it all together to create a vibrant and easy to use website for visitors 👩🏾‍💻

We now have this great donation point at the cafe for St John’s Church. They run a food bank and a soup kitchen. You can read more about them by following the link in our bio. The plan is for the donation point to stay here for 3 months and then move on to another local business… a roaming donation point. You can donate from £3 up to £30. You decide.

You can donate directly to the food bank and soup kitchen via our @bankuet page 👆

@bankuet allows you to donate directly then each week, we at @sjebp can request supplies that we urgently need through their only system. Bankuet then arranges for these supplies to be bought and delivered using your generous cash donations! Clever, isn’t it.

PLUS, Bankuet pools your donations with others which means that *for every £1 donated, they deliver more than £1 worth of food supplies to food banks*.

👏👏👏

Happy summer solstice, everyone!

☀️☀️☀️

It’s been so lovely seeing new summer produce available at @whitebrothersgreengrocers and @stroudgrmarket

🍅🍅🍅

We rely on donations at the Soup Kitchen to serve plant based meals to 100+ guests twice a week (Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons). If you are able to, please consider donating directly to our @bankuet page or you can drop fresh and tinned donations off at the church too.

❤️❤️❤️

We serve puddings with every hot meal, Tuesdays and Sundays, and we happily accept baked good donations from volunteers and local heroes. DM @stjohnskitchen if you’d like to learn more about how you can get involved!

Still going strong with our clothing bank for those in need. Women’s and men’s clothes washed and bagged are gratefully received @sjebp St John’s Church by Finsbury Park. We’re also in need of new underwear and socks - particularly smaller sizes. And please DM us if you have a clothing rack going spare! 🧦🧤🩲👟👖🧥🥾🩳👚👞

THANK YOU to the wonderful @houseofhodge who have donated these books from their stock for our #freebooks stall outside @sjebp - these little shows of community spirit are so brilliant and we’ve had such great feedback. They’ll be available from Friday - alongside our #clothingbank 11-12 for those who can’t afford to shop atm 🙏🏽
