Three Star Books proposes Screens, a dual exhibition of the work of Raffaella della Olga (b. 1964), and Cheryl Donegan (b. 1965), on display at the offices and exhibition room of Westreich / Wagner, located in New
York’s Soho.

Curated and presented by Three Star Books, Paris, the two artists work with distinct materials and methods, yet share a common engagement with systems, pattern, repetition, and the legacy of modern and contemporary image-making.
Though della Olga and Donegan come from unique artistic trajectories, their practices are both anchored in an investigation of systems and the architecture of the image. Through grids and repetitive structures, they navigate a shared visual language in which motifs evolve and transform across surfaces. For each, pattern functions as both formal subject and conceptual method, a way of thinking through the complexities of perception and the history of image-making.

Placed alongside one another, the two bodies of work draw out what echoes between them: recurring motifs, the rhythm of repetition, the role of surface, the shape of the piece itself. With SCREENS, these resonances extend beyond the works themselves into the exhibition space, inviting viewers to reconsider how the two are physically positioned and seen in relation to each other.

A different kind of baby shower.

Drawing on Eastern traditions of approaching the time before a baby’s birth with care, we gathered our circle of friends for a sound bath meditation for blessings as we enter this new chapter of parenthood.

There was something sacred about gathering this way.
Different cultures, backgrounds and traditions, all coming together to honor this moment in our lives. We feel incredibly fortunate for the community surrounding our growing family.

Thank you to María Cristina Serrano (@fruitsandvegs) for her gentle touch, guidance, and for weaving a basket of love around us. And eternally grateful to Marianne and Lorenzo for opening their home and their special music room, allowing the reverberations to resonate through our hearts.

The best part of our Buddymoon in Folegandros 🇬🇷 was that we started with eight close friends, and as each day passed and friends moved on to their next adventure, we were gently eased back into being together after such a natural high from all the love.
