The beginning of this year broke me in ways I had never experienced before and will no doubt carry forever. Losing my brother has shaped every part of the past 9 months. Somewhere in the middle of my grieving, I unexpectedly found someone special & had to learn how to accept love while in the midst of my devastation (without feeling guilty). Stephen has been a bright, warm light in the cold darkness of my grief. He taught me that finding love doesn’t erase those feelings & that I’m allowed to feel joy even while part of my heart still aches. Love to all my friends, and unbelievably thankful for family. Forever inspired by the strength, love, and resilience of my sister-in-law Jackie and my niece & nephew. Carrying love, grief, and hope into the new year. Onward to 2026 🤍
