"Mind Maze", the latest offering from Trees Speak on @souljazzrecords is a journey into the depths of the mind and beyond. This fifth album in just over two years showcases the band's versatility and intense musical prowess. Trees Speak's sound is an eclectic mix of krautrock, post-punk, 60s spy soundtracks, psych, rock, jazz, and 70s synths and effects. With their music heavily influenced by the cosmic magic of the Arizona desert, the band has created a unique and captivating sound that is both experimental and innovative.

Recorded in Brooklyn, New York, the album pays homage to a myriad of musical influences from the 1970s German electronic scene, 1980s New York post-punk, French and Italian progressive rock, and experimental soundscapes. The band's name, Trees Speak, reflects their interest in using technology to store information in nature, and their passion for experimentation creates a one-of-a-kind listening experience.

Trees Speak defies categorization, offering an eclectic and unforgettable listening experience. If you want to hear the sounds of Can, Neu!, John Barry, Sun Ra, and Mars all in one band, then look no further. "Mind Maze" is an invitation to enter the mind of Trees Speak and discover their unique musical world.

Trees Speak are Damian Diaz and Daniel Martin Diaz with special guests Gabriel Sullivan, Alex Pope, Craig Dreyer, Ben Nisbet, and Stephani Guilmette.
