🔥Trusting Yourself🔥

Returning to activity post injury is both physically challenging, but I would argue mostly psychological. It takes a lot of trust in yourself and in your rehab process to believe that you are able to return to sport safely.

At Pin-Point PT, I use a progressive system that slowly but surely returns athletes to their sport as safely as possible.

This includes objective tests and retests along with gauging a patient’s subjective readiness.

This video highlights some of that process!

🏀Ankle Sprain🏀

This video shows a highlight of some mid to late stage ankle sprain rehab. The goal of the session was to get the patient comfortable with loading in a plantar flexed position, which puts the ankle in a more unstable position.

We then got into some dynamic loading in various directions with the main goal for the session to get comfortable with lateral force absorption and deacceleration.

🔥What PT Should Look Like🔥

At Pin-Point PT we take an active approach toward recovery. Most session time has spent in the gym working on strengthening mobility and sports specific movements.

Manual therapy and modalities certainly have their space to help reduce pain. This generally needs to be followed up by an active plan of care.
