Kicked off the night opening the show for @mr.ruckman with my brother @skee_hdivision 🎤🔥
Nothing but pure energy in the room. Real grateful for the opportunity and everyone who showed love.
Big shoutout to @breaknbreadproductions for making it happen and @stavros_vlachogiannis @terrasolsocial @bennyjmc for capturing the moments 📸
This is just the beginning… stay tuned there’s much more coming..!

Last night at the @mr.ruckman album launch. The first @breaknbreadproductions event I shot was the launch of Congruence, so it was good to be back for another one and the vibe is as strong as ever!

Sometimes you show up to an event just for the love of the game… and leave reminded why the culture matters so much.
Big love to Tee and @breaknbreadproductions for inviting me down to @mr.ruckman’s Taking My Flowers album launch. I came through to support and jump around with the boys and it turned into one of those nights that reminds you Aussie hip hop is very much alive.

Artists were jumping on stage all night bringing the energy @skee_hdivision with @mb_hdivision, @bennythegreek, @isthatcreation and the always lethal-on-the-mic @fludust.
MC for the night @durk_driftington_bnb kept the room buzzing (and hilariously buttered up sponsor @mmg_stone (who crafted the marble Mr. Ruckman coffin on stage) to jump up and say a few words). Then he casually reminded everyone he’s got bars of his own too.

When @mr.ruckman hit the stage the room went nuts (myself included). He shared the moment with @lachy_hamill (a serious visionary in the scene: producer, videographer and creative force), @thatskrubkid on his powerful redemption arc, @fludust showing exactly why the veteran status is earned, not to mention some mad vocals from @hyinamufasa.
Shoutout to DJ @denno_jg who kept the night moving and gave Ruckman a heartfelt sendoff at the end.
Met some new faces like @zeustheprophet from @thezeuspodcast, and crossed paths again with familiar ones like the cheeky @jamieee_taylor, the man @the_chronicles_of_the_shakey_d (from @thirty.gee) and the always chill @mcbuggin1.

And of course big respect to the platforms amplifying the culture, powerhouses like @kickinitwithkatija (@kissfmaustralia) and @labzyy from @realtalkwithlabzy.
These portraits are for the people behind the movement
artists, hosts, organisers, storytellers.

Aussie hip hop is alive.
And if you were in that room… you already know.

(IG capped me at 20 tags 😅 so if i didn’t tag the right acc lemme know please!)
