Lately… the coolest @elfaison joined us for a Skin Contact evening full of honesty and wisdom about her debut novel. Between the rules and messiness of polyamorous relationships, motherhood bonds, nuns and wine, the conversation could have lasted the whole night. Thank you to everyone who joined, Elisa’s friends, and obviously the star of the night for such a wonderful bookshop moment. We already can’t wait for book two!

Lit Therapy’s circle opened once again with Marta, Bruna, and Carolina talking through the blurry parts of mental health and sharing the books that keep them afloat.

And after yet another busy ‘Restock Friday’, a busy weekend took place. @skelly__ brought her magical Irish storytelling talent for the sweetest Once Upon a Sunday morning of owl stories and play. There is nothing more innocent and hopeful than kids laughing in unison at a good story!

Sunday ended with a full house for @joana.neves3 Othering/Mothering conversation on motherhood, complete with the most perfect syllabus and recommendations. Joana’s guidance, along with everyone’s input and questions, left every woman in the audience feeling completely seen and with a lot to think about. Joana will be back soon…!

October has arrived and the spooky reads are out on the shelves. Now we just need the Lisbon weather to finally let us wear a jumper...

Once Upon a Sunday returns on October 4th, our ongoing attempt to raise a generation that prefers paper pages to iPads!

If you missed our previous sessions, lovely @skelly__ is taking over the bookshop floor again. With over a decade of primary school teaching experience and a very Irish talent for storytelling, she knows best how to capture a young mind and hold its attention. She is here to prove that a good story is still the best magic trick in the world.

The itinerary for ages 1 to 5:
11:00: Welcome & Settle (Chaos management)
11:10: Learning to Listen
11:20: Storytime, cover predictions and critical analysis (toddler edition)
11:50: Wrap up & Browsing
(With a 10-minute buffer time because, well, kids)

Sunday, October 4th | 11am - 12pm | Free entry

Bring the little ones and let’s build some readers. Link in bio to sign up!

And just like that, another unforgettable iX Lisbon comes to an end. 🇵🇹⚽️🔥

Thank you to every student, staff member, partner, and friend who made this summer so special. You turned Lisbon into a true home away from home.

See you next year. ❤️

The last five weeks have flown by. 🇵🇹✨

As we head into the final stretch of the program, we took some time to slow down.

Yoga, meditation, breathwork, connection dinners, birthday celebrations, and mindful moments gave students the chance to reset, reflect, and recharge before their final presentations.

Now it’s time to finish strong. 💪
