My thesis show & graduation was absolutely amazing ✨🌷🧚
•
The first day I was at Ringling I cried because I was so scared to be there at 17, fresh out of high school. Immediately that night I made my first and best friend @nando.aguirre7 and thought maybe this isn’t horrible. I’m so glad I decided to stay and met so many more amazing people. From so many friends to professors, this community has ment a lot to me. I got to be president of @artistalley.ringling and work as a coordinator at @cssringlingcollege , both such meaningful things to me. Thank you @ringlingcollegeillustration for being such an amazing place for me to grow and learn ✨ I hope to be back in the future! :)

Music informs so much of Fernando’s artistic practice, including his senior thesis, which you can view at tonight’s ArtWalk at @rcadgalleries

We’ll talk about his thesis, his artistic journey so far, and his future plans, plus Fernando will share music from Turnstile, Hayley Williams, Magdalena Bay, PinkPantheress, underscores and Power Snatch!

The first 75 guests who attend our Ego Death at a Nashville Karaoke Party Bar at @the_lipstick_lounge on April 26 in Nashville will receive a free Alfred Furlong tote bag filled with fan-designed merch. What item is your favorite? Check out my pinned post for full event details. All items were produced or purchased by me, with the exception of the talented @paralandmore who is also bringing 100 stickers.

This post is a shoutout to all the incredible artists who contributed designs for this event. Each tote bag will include a thank you card designed by @hernameisfer featuring a QR code that links back to this post. So guests can easily see which artist designed what items. She also designed this post!

I’m so grateful for everyone who contributed to making this event happen. Each artist whose design is featured will receive a tote bag, copies of the item with their design, and hopefully a few extra goodies as well.

All of my co-hosts are collaborators on this post, and we can’t wait to see you in Nashville! Please make sure you take some photos with our event backdrop designed by @paramorecolombia.
