All for the love of surfing! It’s the people you meet, the experiences created and the memories made that make it worthwhile.

Dallas has felt like a second surf home lately. I’ve loved all the friendships formed down there at PopStroke and Ryan is absolutely amazing. It may be a long drive but it’s always worth it.

Tulsa, well I finally got to surf the wave there. It hadn’t been running when I previously went through so I was super stoked to meet up with Tyler and his crew. What a vibe and what a blast! The 105 degree weather was a bit rough but that didn’t stop anyone from coming out. Can’t wait to go back.

And then WOKA. The water isn’t running fully all the time currently so we were fortunate to have the wave up at a decent level. WOKA was extra special this go round. I was able to have all 3 of my kids surf with me. Montana tried river surfing for the first time and both girls surfed hard boards for their first time. Needless to say, they all loved it and I truly enjoyed getting to spend this time with them doing what I love most.

So thank you to everyone who has made this adventure so far a memorable one. It wasn’t supposed to be surfing based but has somehow turned into that. I mean, if I can find a river wave and surf, I’ll do just that. 😍

The Fiery Furnace did not disappoint! After roughly 7 years of trying to get a permit to do this hike, I scored one the day before we left for Moab. Stoked was an understatement!!

We arrived at the parking lot this morning being the first people to arrive as well as hit the trail. The thing about this hike is that there is no definitive trail to follow. They do have small little arrows to sort of follow along the way but you still manage to get lost… a good lost. When getting lost, you find all sorts of gorgeous views. It took us exactly 2 hours from start to finish. The length of time for each group depends on how many stops and how lost you get. Ha. It was hands down a family favorite hike!
