Just a casual Monday 🫠

And no, most of my days don’t finish with an 8.30pm basketball game, getting to bed at 11pm…just this one. I’m usually in bed at 8.30pm 😂

But keeping it realistic…because most nights include @bomberryau 🤤

For so long my skin consumed my life, and riddled me with self-doubt, anxiety and depression. It stopped me from living my life to the fullest and took up so much of time, energy, and focus. And as someone who has always valued their health and fitness greatly, I felt cheated, and so beyond defeated by it.

I felt guilty all the time, and I was always fixating and searching on how I could fix myself. Constantly telling myself, that there was something wrong with me + I was the one to blame.

But when 2024 began, and I quickly realised I was getting married that year, I decided giving up on my skin was not an option- I decided to take a look at my life as a whole - and asked myself …what no longer felt aligned, what hadn’t I tried and what wasn’t working…

I truly believe that there is no one size fits all with acne, and it’s so hard to say what exactly healed my skin after 10 years of trying what felt like everything on plant earth, but I do believe that simplifying your life, reducing any stresses, and finding someone you can trust to help you on your journey makes the world of difference.

Swipe to see what I feel helped me, and just remember while what worked for me, may not work for you (every ‘body’ is so different) I do wholeheartedly believe, that when we stop fixating and attaching our worth and self to the problem - we allow space for our body to heal + do its thing 🤎🤎

Massive shoutout to @drtranteraesthetics - without your help, guidance + skincare routine - I don’t know where I would be ✨✨✨ grateful beyond words to wake up and not have to be worried or anxious about my skin anymore 💌

And to anyone out there going through it, I hope this helps | there is so much information, and I just know I felt so overwhelmed with what ‘thing’ to try … but just remember it is not your fault, you are so god damn worthy as you are right now + healing IS oh so POSSIBLE 🫶🏼

🫶A Huge Thank You to John Downes, a Strategic Mentor with over 23 years as a Deloitte partner 💙

I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to John Downes for recognising and articulating my WHY in my @skinb5 journey. Without this strong motivation, I might have let go of my dream long ago. From day one, there have been countless challenges, but it’s my unwavering WHY—the desire to make a positive impact in people’s lives—that keeps me moving forward.

To our incredible SkinB5 family, thank you for your ongoing support! Your heartfelt stories of transformation are a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

I invite you to share your SkinB5 journey on our social media. By sharing your experience, you not only help others discover the path to confident, healthier skin, but you also empower them to live their lives more freely and happily in their own skin. Together, we can make a difference!

🎧✨🎥When everything turned upside down during COVID, it was a huge pressure test on businesses, teams, and leadership. Everything felt unfamiliar and total mayhem. I was fortunate to be in John’s CEO Masterclass at the time. The #CriticalFewActions approach really helped us concentrate on priorities that made a difference and prevented us from being overwhelmed.

In my conversation with John Downs, a Strategic Mentor with over 23 years of experience as a Deloitte partner, I shared how we managed the SkinB5™ remote teams when our distribution chain fell apart and how we quickly built a direct channel amidst supply chain chaos.

John’s invaluable insights and expertise in guiding CEOs have genuinely shaped my journey as a founder, and I’m grateful for his support. Together, we explored how we transformed the lives of tens of thousands of young Australian adults on the podcast.

Bye bye acne scars, hello Fraxel! 𝘝𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘸: 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯?

I’ve had cystic acne since 15, spent over 15k on treatments, but Fraxel’s been the most effective for my scars. Still a journey ahead!

Acne and scars have taught me about skincare, genetics, and boosted my wisdom on mental health and confidence. Ironically, it led me to become a makeup artist, yet now I embrace my skin bare.
