✨Products that have been helping with my hormonal acne:

@pyunkangyul’s Ultimate Calming Solution Toner, Ampoule, and Cream.

These products contain their patented natural herbal ingredients specifically designed for acne-prone skin and irritated skin. Not only do these products reduce inflammation, they also reduce sebum production, improve skin texture to strengthen the skin barrier. These products are free from steroids and are safe to use on both adults and children.

You could definitely see less redness and inflammation from only 1 week of use. My chin also feels a lot less swollen. So if ya’ll dealing with some stubborn hormonal acne like me, definitely give these products a try.

Rating @theinkeylist products Part 1

☁️ Oat Cleansing Balm
Pros: Delicate, gently dissolves [most] makeup without stripping the skin, smooth in texture
Cons: Doesn’t dissolve waterproof makeup that well, leaves an oily film on the face (I always need to follow up with a 2nd cleanser), and can we talk about how hard it is to squeeze this out of the tube?!

☁️ Salicylic Acid Cleanser
Pros: Gentle salicylic acid cleanser that helps reduce blackheads, acne and blemishes. Found it effective for any acne on the body.
Cons: The texture feels more like a serum than a cleanser. It doesn’t really help clean off makeup either. I would use this on the face on days that I stay home and don’t apply makeup to try and finish the bottle 😂

☁️ Niacinamide Serum
Pros: Effective, very affordable
Cons: Quite sticky in texture, and pills if you’re layering more products on top.

☁️ Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Pros: Effective, very affordable, not sticky like other inexpensive HA serums!
Cons: Pills a little when you’re laying more products on top.

☁️ Peptide Moisturizer
Pros: Very affordable, rich in texture, and gentle for sensitive skin. Would use this during the day and in the summer.
Cons: Not moisturizing enough for the cold, dry winter.

☁️ Retinol
Pros: Inexpensive and effective, has quite a nice texture to it. But it was just OK. For the price ($13 CAD), you can’t complain too much.
Cons: The smell..

☁️ Bakuchiol
Pros: Very affordable, light texture, and gentle for sensitive skin. Would use this during the day and in the summer.
Cons: But seriously, why is this moisturizer so small??? And it’s not moisturizing enough for overnight use or in the winter.

☁️ Tranexamic Acid Night Treatment
Pros: Effective, helps decrease the look of acne scars over time
Cons: Can be a little strong for sensitive skin types.

☁️ Succinic Acid Treatment
Pros: Works very well for me without drying or irritating the surrounding skin. Very lovely spot treatment.
Cons: I can’t think of any! Definitely a repurchase for me.
