Maynooth Market Day = guaranteed FABULOUS day!
The craic with fellow lovely traders & great chat with visitors, can't beat it!

I love this market so much that I couldn't resist but create a custom merch T-shirt, featuring some of us 😉 The yummy treats, the music, the delicious eggs & vegetables, the stunning pictures & arts, the locals & their dogs...

Some of you were lucky enough to spot the northern lights last night, a decent display was to be had when the skies cleared! 🔴🟢🔴🟢🔴🟢

This was taken last night over Taghadoe Round Tower and Church. #auroraborealis #northernlights

Maynooth Market is going Nationwide! 📺

Keep an eye on RTÉ One this Monday evening as Nationwide comes to Maynooth to celebrate our town’s 850th anniversary.

Presenter Richard Downes stopped by Maynooth Local Market during filming, chatting with some of our vendors and getting a taste of the fantastic local products and produce on offer, with Comhaltas Maynooth providing the music on the day. 🎶

There’ll be plenty of familiar Maynooth faces to look out for!

📺 Nationwide
📅 Monday, 21 September
⏰ 7pm, @rteone

We’re really looking forward to seeing Maynooth take centre stage. 💚

P.S. No need to wait until Monday to see us 😉 We’ll be back on Court House Square tomorrow, 10am–3pm.

📸 A Presentation to Remember at Clondalkin Camera Club! 🌄✨
We’d like to follow up on our earlier post and share just how much of an absolute delight it was to have Karen Kennedy (@skinny.pixals) join us for a very special evening of photography.
From the very beginning to the very end, our members were completely captivated by Karen’s knowledge, creativity and sheer passion for her craft. Her presentation on Forced Perspective Landscape Photography gave us a fascinating insight into not only the techniques behind her incredible images, but also the thought, patience and meticulous planning that goes into creating them.
A huge thank you, Karen, for sharing your time, your expertise and, perhaps most importantly, the wonderful stories behind your travels and your photography. It was a privilege to get a glimpse into the dedication and imagination that goes into producing your amazing work. 📷🌍
It was clear from the reaction in the room that this was a presentation that resonated with everyone, inspiring plenty of discussion, ideas and, no doubt, a few photographers itching to get out and try something new!
This presentation will certainly go down in the books for Clondalkin Camera Club. 📖📸
Thank you so much, Karen, for a truly wonderful evening! 🙌
